This is a legit company called PrePaid Legal in Ada Oklahoma. This is a customer servcice number for them and they call you only if you had made an application for their service.

If this is a legit service, why are the calling my cell Phone; especially when I did not ask for their services.

These stupid scam peoplle called me with PrepaidLegal on the caller ID but I already have aaked them to stop calling me and leave me alone. They are rude and rellentless.  Their new name is Legall Shield and it is no different from when it was those uneducated assuming folks who called from the pyramid scam of prepaidlegal.  They need to get a real job and stop tryng to get involved in get-rich-quick-schemes..... there is no such thing.  Even when I ask them to stop calling me, they still call.  I am on the do not call list.

You are correct Virginia. They are just a scam for get rich quivk peoplle who won't get real jobs.  Worthless wastes! I. too, asked them to stop calling me. They still call me anyway.  It's maddening and I would not buy their produvt or join their club ever ever ever because they are so dumb.  Their product is dumb, too.

Pre Paid Legal Service is a legitimate company.  I am a memeber and they helped my daughter with a law suit and won.  They also did my Wil FREE since I a paid member.  They ARE NOT a scam.  If they are calling you it's because you may have contacted them at one time OR you have given out your information to a representative...maybe not even realizing it.  Could have been on of your friends who are reps for them.

LegalShield (formerly PrePaid Legal) is not a ‘Get Rich Scheme’ but a legitimate company offering premium Legal and real Identity Theft services in affordable plans that put the power back into the hands of the common people.

As a practice, they do not make robo-calls of solicitation. Perhaps your number is new (from someone else) or if your number was passed to someone as a follow up and hadn’t been mark off as yet and that’s why the call. If you asked not to be called the records will be corrected. Sorry you had the inconvenience.

I’m a member and their business practices are of high standards. If their services are among A-list law firms around the country with ID-Protection managed by KROLL (of whom the government used to track down Saddam’s money) then believe me, LegalShield isn’t going to screw-around only to sullying their associates in the process (really).

This is definitely some sort of scam. I've gotten 3 calls in 2 weeks asking for Penny Purnell and each time I tell them I am not Penny Purnell so take me off the list. I even called back today to tell them to stop calling. I do not need to be woken up at the [***] crack of dawn for this. I even called them back (my 4th interaction with them) to tell them to take me off the list (which was obviously not done after their third call to me 10 minutes earlier).

Legalshield (580-436-1234) is a rip-off.  I was an "associate" with them for a year, after being suckered into selling the plans, because they "wanted to help people realize there is an affordable way to have legal help."  I was told to use the legal services, so I would have my own true story to tell clients.  I tried to get legal assistance for a couple of issues and was never assisted and given the run-around every time I called.  They never prepared the "free will" that they claimed was the first part of the "wonderful service."  They also never paid me after selling memberships.  I canceled my legal plan, my credit monitoring plan and quit being an associate!  Do not fall for this scam!!  They now call me weekly asking me to come back as an associate or to sign up for legal services.  I am on the do not call list and they continue to call, after telling them to stop contacting me!  I now work for an attorney and will use a legit attorney to make them stop contacting me, if they do not stop!

This is the number for Legal Shield's corporate office, NOT your local provider law firm. That means if you are getting calls from this number, it isn't about any of the legal issues you may be getting assistance with. It is most likely a sales call or some other kind of unwanted disturbance.

I've been getting unwanted calls from them for the last few weeks because after the last time I called my local provider law firm, they asked me to fill out an online survey. The survey had the option to get a call back if you needed further assistance, and I specifically remember that I selected the NO call back option. In spite of that, the legal shield corporate offices are now calling me on a weekly basis and leaving messages saying that they want to talk to me about my survey response.

BS! I selected NOT to be called. I don't want to talk to these people and they are lucky I don't cancel my service over these unwanted calls.

This is Legal Shields Corporate Headquarters calling you. This is not a scam call. They might be calling you for their services. It's important to remember that someone such as a friend or family member might have referred you and they are contacting you on their behalf. As far as the unwanted calls that is unacceptable. I am a member and a associate with them and personally i hate being constantly harassed or called repeatedly. Please get the person who is calling you and call corporate up and let them know because our company is here to help not harass. As a member and an associate I apologize on behalf of Legal Shield. The really are a great company! They offer pre Paid legal services at a fraction of what you would normally pay. Anyway

Provisions Q Cancellation of the Contract." There is nobody named Lori Owen in the provider services, and the provider services. There is no provision Q Cancellation of the Contract as well. The Scams can conterfeit anything everything they need, passport, the letter from a corporation, court document, bank document. Why Legal Shield doesn't look into these scam issues if this corporation claims to offer the affordable legal service to help people in need, in my case, when I need the legal assistance the most, Legal Shield cancel my membership without my consent. It is a shame this organization claims their vision is helping people in need when the scammer conterfeit a letter on behalf of Legal Shield, Legal Shield not even bother to investigate this matter to protect the members.
