I received some very rude, threatening and unbelievably collection agency this morning who would not identify themselves or their address. I am concerned that it could be a sham. How can I find the name of the business and the address from phone number that I reversed and it showed a untraceable cell phone.

Called my 76 year old mother about a relative and told her the relative would be arrested if she does not call back. My mother was very upset by the call. I am calling as this number back tomorrow to see who this is. This will be reported to the Attorney General's Office.

I got the same kind of call today. The lady was very rude in the voice mail. I called me by my madien name. Said she had been calling all day but didnt have the right number. And if I didn't call back by the end of the day a warrent for my arrest was going to be issued in my county. She did not say where she was from or her name. I am concerned too that this is a spam. How do I find out who this is? I don't want to go to jail?!

Did you report to anyone? I am curious to know what they are saying you owe them? And what for? Who do I report this harassment too?

Dont ever give your information out, They will keep calling you and threatening you. Tell them to send the paper work to you in the mail, No company can threaten you over the phone with an arrest,Whenever they call dont answer the phone, they called me more then once, saying the same thing and nothening ever happened to me. I also called my bank and informed them regarding the call, and they said that it was a spam. Alway requested written information when it comes to paying a debt, never giving your bank infor, without paperwork to support it.

Thank you. I have an app on my phone to block calls. I blocked the number. I just checked it this morning and they havent tried calling any again. Thank you for reassuring me :)

He left messages calling us idiots, saying he wanted to speak to us  & our attorney and we better hurry.  He said to consider this official notification.  He said he was from Legal Services.
