Very hard to understand claiming to be IRS (not) and asking for myself or lawyer to call.

same here claimed a pending lawsuit asking me or lawyer to call

Here what they said
"The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My officer Heather Grey from Internal Revenue Service and the hotline to my division is 5854446953. I repeat it's 5854446953. Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any legal allegation against you. Goodbye and take care."

claiming to be IRS. Called yesterday and today. Same message as Jackie.

They call today morning in one of the temple in Chicago area.
And told me that I am calling from revenue department and you have tax due.
I head listen this story and ask him that what is the name of corporation you are calling for.
He did not head answer and told me that you have to call and talk to my sinner to discourse.
I told his that if you don’t have information why you are calling.  He gives me the phone number to call back 585-444-6953. I search in Google and hear is massage
IRS does not have time to call any one at all. They only write a letter if you do not replay they will sand by certified mail but they do not call.  Please go to this link and read

Yes, I received the exact same call.

Received a voice mail with the same text detailed above...at least she encouraged me to "take care". At risk of legal action, I'm afraid I'm going to disregard the message.

Nothing will happen - it's a scam (an earlier poster had a hyperlink to an article verifying as much). The call to me came over my cell phone which I have never included on my tax forms (only my land line which is only answered by an answering machine).

Call Claims to be IRS and scare you into calling them... Complete SCAM.

Same message. Be aware it is a big scam. They will direct to buy reload it card.

Same basic message as above.   Extremely hard to understand and obviously lacking true legal knowledge.  Erased the call   SCAM

IRS Tax scam. This time the message was left on my cell. All other times have been on my landline. They "call" from various numbers but always use the same verbiage, like they're reading from a script and ALL have had a heavy Indian accent. This time it sounded like a female. All the other calls have been male. I'll add this one to the complaint I already filed with the FTC. Hopefully, one day they'll catch these lowlifes!!
