Received call from this number.  No message left.  Comes up out of area on caller id.

This is a recorded message from a company who says they are selling medical alert devices to senior citizens.  Not sure how they got my number, but they are probably in violation of the do not call list.

This jerk keeps calling to sell some bogus medical alert device. Violates the do not call list.

no message left on my machine -- I called back yielding a message that "this number's mailbox is full.  Please call back later."  I will not.

Probably someone that knows you bought a device from them and got a discount for giving your name and number.OUGHT TO BE ILLEGAL, but laxly enforced laws only encourage the greedy!

Just got a call from this number.  Listened to recording about medical alert device just to see how much info they would provide.  Hung up and filed complaints with State of Tn, FCC, and FTC for violations of DNC law.  Don't expect anything to be done.  Filed about 100 of these before about violators.  

Don't let anyone kid you.  These numbers can be traced and most can be traced back to Public Telecom Utilities, a bogus telephone network set up for scammers.  The callers hide behind Public Telecom's privacy stuff.  The Feds and State's attorney general's office could get them if they wanted to, or the regulatory commissions in the state they operate could shut them down.  They're are other ways the scammers operate but this one could be shut down immediately.

A complaint should be filed with the FCC at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints.  The form takes a few minutes to fill out and you can file a complaint against three different numbers.  I think this is the most effective way to deal with this problem. If you file a complaint with the FCC, be sure to submit the link to this thread in the complaint form.  That way, the FCC will be aware that the caller has done this repeatedly.

We need CRIMINAL penalties against the companies that are profiting from these calls. Follow the money, slap them in jail, no one left to outsource to overseas boiler rooms, problem solved.
Since they are operating across borders it should become a federal felony and should be handled by the FBI under the RICO Act.

These calls are coming from call centers in Costa Rica and India and they are using spoofed (false) numbers, which in itself is illegal. They do cold calling for or sell the leads to numerous companies in this country and they know that what they are doing is illegal. Tomorrow this same number may be selling Cruises, Timeshares or Security Systems but if you follow the money it usually ends up in the hands of an American LLC. Keep complaining to the FTC and FCC, and start bugging our politicians to pass laws to make it punishable in criminal court instead of handing out fines that they don't pay. Another course of action is to contact phone companies to find out why they won't block spoofed numbers. With today's technology that should be an easy thing to do, unless they are somehow profiting from the use of their systems.

Robocalls are illegal unless you have given them prior permission in writing (not worded into some small print contract from a 3rd party) and are absolutely illegal to a cell phone.  The Telephone Consumer Protection Act permits individuals who have received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes or telemarketing calls, to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for each violation.

Received a call and no answer.

idiots called me and thank god did not leave a voicemail. i called back but goes straight into their answering but no space to record.

Multiple calls and leaves a message about debt consolidation - I delete as soon as it starts playing message back.

harassing calls all hours from this number  when answered no one is on the other end   when you call back a recording tells you mail box is full the nhangs up  I have reported this to FCC suggest you do same

Complain to your State Attorney General's office. Indiana State Attorney General filed suit against this company in August, putting a restraining order on them to stop calling people in Indiana.  Indiana had over 600 complaints on this company.  Your state will listen if they get enough complaints, your complaint definity counts. This company stopped calling Indiana, but they are still calling the rest of the states and now starting to call Canada.  If every state puts a restraining order on them, they will have no one to call in the US.

The name of this company is Elite Information Solutions out of Casselberry, Florida, but the company is using a UPS store address in Orlando for their principal place of business.  Company owner is Michael Hilgar.  This company goes by several FAKE names.  Here are a few names that they are using:  Safeline Medical Alert, Senior Medical Benefits, Senior Medical Advisory, Senior Alert Line, and Senior Safeline.

I am on the do not call list, but keep getting calls.I let the machine pickup, but the are clever enough to not leave any message. I do have their calls logged on my caller ID>

If you really want to stop these people, complain OFFICIALLY to the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. Contact Monica Brown of their Telemarketing Dept at Monica.Brown@freshfromflorida.com and/or go to the website www.800helpFLA.com and use the online complaint form. Be as specific as possible. Name Michael Hilgar and Elite Information Solutions and say that his company is making direct sales solicitations in violation of Florida law in addition to violating Federal law (you can make that complain to the FCC). Unbelievably when I spoke with Monica she told me NO ONE had yet made a formal complaint against this company. I did. Now YOU need to do as well so we can put these people behind bars. Michael Hilgar IS a criminal and known con artist. Just look up his record. He has gone from one scam (roofing and stucco) to another. WE need to stop him.
