I received a call from 585-563-5200 today.  They left a message I couldn't understand completely.  It referred to electronic transfers and he said he wasn't comfortable leaving any more details on my phone message.  He asked me to call him back.  I don't think I will.  I have no outstanding debts and am not planning to transfer any funds electronically through anyone but my bank.

I live in CO. I have debts from over 3 years ago. Since then, I have been working on my credit. Just recently, I decided to file bankruptcy.
I received a call like this late last year, she called a stated that I wrote a check with a payday loan company and the check would be considered a bad check and I would be arrested. I fell for it, but then called my lawyer who stated I should receive a statement or document from them. When I called them back, they were so rude. They told me that they don't work from me, they work for the creditor and they didn't have to send me anything. I told them to cancel the payment and I don't care because I know my rights as a consumer. Two weeks later they took the funds out. So I got my bank to investigate. My bank thought it was weird because there was no way to contact them. I got my money back, but it was a nightmare.
Strange thing I received a call from the same number that called you, but did not answer. After researching the company this morning , it does the same exact thing as the one experienced. Don't call back. They will only try to scare you by saying you will be arrested or something. It's not worth it; everything they do is illegal.

I got a call for "April" from this number.  When I told them I'm not her, they said I must have got her old number.  I told her I've had this number over 13 years. When I said that, the caller cursed!  I told her "April" has given my number out to a lot of people, so I get a lot of calls for her... mostly bill collectors, etc.  The caller didn't say why she was looking for April, but said she would update her file, and not call me again.

got a call from this number twice. said something about an audit that i was named as primary. have no idea what that is or could be. Funny how these harassing calls never have any legal backup in black and white. like a court summons or something our lawyers can sink their teeth into.
