I'd like to know who called me.

A person called me from 585-633-1792 and told me I have tax problems. He asks me to call 585-633-1792 (the same number he called me) and talk to Dexder Cruz. If that  number is busy, ask me to call 585-633-5395.  Then he called me again the next day ask me if I called that  number. I told him since it is the same number why ask Mr. Cruz to call me and tell me what is my tax problem. I told him IRS never call a person about tax issue, they will send letter first. I ask him to send an official IRS letter to me and I can call the number in the letter. Since then he never call me again. Be careful about the phone scam!!!

Got the call yesterday from this idiot.  Told me I better call him back because I was in trouble with IRS. You could hardly understand his English.  

Yes its a scam and a bad one at that~~  This ideot was rude and like you said couldent harley understand a word of what he was saying but I threateded to get in touch with the IRS and he hung up on me ...so I called back and got hung up on again . Im so sure  the IRS is much more civil then that~~~LOL.  He stated I have a warrant for  my arrest and did I have a lawyer , Wow  did he really think i'd purchase anything excpecially leagal help from someone who can't even speak our lauguage  ......  NOT  :) ......    HAVE A GOOD DAY !!!

This number called my mother wanting to know information about her retirement benefits with the Social Security. The person left a message name is Jennifer but with a male's voice. WTH! Such a bad scam!!

What a bad scam. This idiot called and asked for my personal information.  Do you think the world is as stupid as you are?! Can someone please have this number report and put the person who registered under this phone number in prison!

I have received several of these calls.  What scares me is some of the elderly and the young kids might get "caught" by this scam.  There is not enough educating the public about these scam calls and how to handle them when you DO receive one.  Also, there are not enough resources in place to catch and prosecute them.

i got a message phone call from this number ...he said IRA

I just got a call around 8am this Saturday morning and did not answer it. However, I was curious and later  called the phone number 585-633-1792 back via my caller ID. To my surprise someone answered with an authoritative voice  claiming to be from the IRS Criminal Investigation unit. I told him it was strange that IRS would on the weekends and I trying to figure out if this was a scam or not. He then asked me for my phone number and then hung up!  I checked the number on the iInternet and ..Wow... what a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  
Please be careful! I didn't know if by me calling back could have triggered more info for this scammer or not, so I reported incident (lefty a message) to the IRS (internet look up)

I got the same call from the same#  DUMMY saying the same  thing, I told him I wasn't going to listen & if he wanted to send a letter I would handle it then, I hung up. ( I couldn't understand him either)
That !@#$%% call me again & told me to write the same number down.!!!
I didn't call the number,(same #) * ask for Mr. Cruz , I have heard that sometimes when you call back they charge to your phone #.
I bet I never get a letter!! ;))

If these people would spend as much time scamming as working maybe they would make more money!!!

We let the answering machine pick up, as we listened ... an automated computer generated voice told us we owe money to the IRS and it must be paid promptly. Said threats like we could lose our license or be arrested, and it was imparative to return the call ... it was a long message, but this was the gist of it. We live in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and our caller ID registers the call as coming from

We know it is a scam, hoax, ect ... I thought it was odd that at the end of the call, the automated computer generated voice told us to "take care". I hope the REAL IRS finds these people and turns them every which way but lose!

Stephen Mack from the IRS called saying I need to call back, I owe.  This idiot better stop calling. Even has the wrong name..used my nickname/Screen name.  Um I'm sure the IRS has my real name and doesn't use my Screen Handle! LOL.  585-633-1792 why don't they disconnect this line, it's obviously a scam!  Irritated.
