just recieved 3 calls stating they had a warrant for my arrest.I have never taken out a payday loan in my life,so we will see them in court.I called the local police and reported them.

I received call from the same # informing me that they calling from an IRS tax crime investigation & I owe IRS money and if do not respond back to them will face problems , also wanting to have my attorney contact them either. I had heard similar thing happened to one of my friend, however I spoke to local IRS who informed me that I do not owe money and I'm good at my Taxes.
I called the number and confronted the guy "dev Bakshi" - he stated the audit was done at NY Buffalo office and the information has not been shared with the local tampa office.
Really apprently per him they are trying to chase me since 2013 july and they have not even informed local office on this ..
I do not know what to do with this !!

It's all good.  They said they were calling the local police department for a warrent for my arrest within 45 minutes.  I laughed at them indicating that legally, I should have received some sort of paper trail or documentation.  If they are so intelligent, they have my home address and can reach me by certified letter.  I wouldn't give them a thing.

I received the same call from someone named adam scott.  I called back and he asked my my name and phone number.  I told him it was the one he just called.  He said good bye and hung up.  I wouldnt worry too much about this guy.  I'm sure its a scam, just dont call back or give them any information.  If it was real you would get a letter, not a phone call.

Absolutely same story .  Looks this guy a scamer .   Will report him to police

Same story. Guy claims his name is Adam Scott from IRS. Ends the message with "you or your attorney should call this number soon or GOOD LUCK" . Cheeky [***]!!!

Here is the transcript of the message left on my answering machine twice within one hour of each other today.

"I need you or your recent attorney (illegible name) to return the call.  The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. This is officer Adam Scott and my number is 585-697-2898 again 585-697-2898. Now don't try to disregard this message and do return the call.  If you don't return the call or if I don't hear from your attorney either, the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Thank you and good bye.

Duplicate of the same message I received. Again IRS would send you paperwork or a paper trail and not have some liar pretend he's an IRS agent making threats which is illegal. IRS should know about this.

Looks like the idiot who plagued my phone for 18 months using 500+ numbers is at it again. Ive heard that dialog so many times ive got it memorized. Mine was the payday loans scam that i owed money then it changed to i applied for a loan. With the IRS scam they often say you owe and when they cant get to you they change it to some government grant that your eligable for that doesnt exist. Im concidering buying a fresh phone number and posting it here on who calls me to give them a free lead so i can mess with them and tie up one phone line. My perssonal best was 3 hours 18 minutes that was a total blast.

Received a call on my personal cell phone from 585-697-2898 reporting that the call was from the IRS.  Told to call immediately or have my "attorney" call and if I didn't, there would be problems.  IRS contacts you first by mail, not by personal cell phone.  Warning:  This is a scam!

the IRS does not call.  he ended with "if you don't respond, well, . .wish you good luck"

He is cheating the innocent people taking hard earning money . MF does not know how hard is to earned the money .

bobby i have same guy called me 3 times ,telling me he will arrest my wife and me i asked him why he said i owed Irs the money , as soon i hanged up i got the call from sheriff dept .police said that the scam.
