Voicemail message threatening

I also received a voicemail about some "time sensitive" information or something and to call back "immediately" although there was no content of what this issue was.

the people who can't speak English well , I talked once as this number called many times before, he wanted to threaten me like that.

Some mike Anderson from IRS...

message said it was Sam Watson from IRS

He/She said that they were from the IRS, and it seemed to be on a loop as they were repeating nonsense about some Mike Anderson and the IRS and some time-sensitive information. The whole "I can't hear you very well" thing made it clear that this was a deceitful, automated device.

Some Mark Wright, identifying himself as from IRS left a voice mail. Guy couldn't even speak correct English. Obviously IRS sends letters not threatening voice mails.

pretended to be from IRS. Used very foul and threatening language.

Pretended to be an IRS agent.  Want to collect debt.  Try to go to Western Union to send money that I owe to IRS.

I got a message from someone who could barely articulate in english, like so many of you reported. The number goes back to Bestway Auto Service in Rochester, New York. IRS does not leave messages! And their office is not in New York. He called using the name Mark Davis.

I recieved calls frm this number harrasing my elderly parents. I live seprately after I was married. Using my madein name they got the contact infomation for my parents house(where i lived for a short time)These types of people should be arrested, because ppl like my parents are being harrassed. My parents are elderly and were upset about the call. A male asked for me by my maiden name and said it waa a confidential matter and was urgent. Given the fact that I hv had my name changed for ten yrs(@ time of marriage), i know that irs and other gov. Agencies would hv new information and firstly would send a letter esp. Being a lawyer I know that complaints are usually written as there is valid proof of the warning and or complaint against persons or agency.  I have no issues with IRS as hv been an upstanding and law abiding citizen for years.  Also a point to be taken most peolpe are of Immigrant backrounds... As these ppl are afraid they will scare them into getting personal information... Which they can later use to  make money or commit identity theft and so on.

Some man called for my mother and said he was calling from the IRS and the transferred the call to Mike Anderson. He said that she has to pay over $4000 for miscalculation on taxpayer. And was filed the wrong form. He also said that she could be arrested. That is a lie. He was just threatening.  Mike Anderson's extension is 2254.

Please do not answer any question, it is a scam. IRS always contact you by a letter not call.

Same thing as above guys .. Calling from IRS and mark Anderson is his boss call back they call me 6:45 on Sat am .. Crazy idiots ..

I got a call Saturday 7am and 11:20am again from the same number identifying themselves as IRS investigation department by name John White regarding mis-calculation of IRS payment. they were asking for my attorney.

I told the guy to send me in writing and hung up

The caller claimed that he was an IRS Auditor and his name was John White. He spoke with a strong African accent probably (Nigerian) The call was for my wife as he used her first name and I answered the phone as through I was her, then he realized he was talking to a male he answered with my first name. He asked if I talked to a my lawyer about some document transfer? I told this guy to send the information to my home address so I could examine-it. I didn't provide my home address he already knew it. I asked to speak to his English speaking supervisor because his English was broken and horrible. I told him that something was wrong and to transfer the call to his immediate English speaking supervisor which he did upon my request then after a several click the phone disconnected-end of the call!    

I got s call this man named Alert White claiming to be calling from IRS in Oregon (with a very heavy Indian accent) and
he told that I had a IRS issue so I needed to contact their investigating officer named Mike Anderson at 585-697-3455.
He wouldn't tell me what the "issue" was, but Mike Anderson would tell me when I contact him.  I attempted to call this number several times, but no one picked up.  After several attempts trying to call this number, it dawned on me that this might be a scam, so I Googled this number, and thank God, I got to this website.  I now know that he was attempting some type of scam.  Thank you everyone for letting me know.

John Smith called from 585-697-3455  heavy voice stating he is calling from the Internal Revenue and wants a call back and not to take this call lightly.
