600-000-0000

I received a call today from someone at 1-600-000-0000, looking for someone who doesn't live here. Of course I don't talk with anyone who's number I don't recognise.

I also recieved a call I keep getting phone calls from creditors, parole boards, prisions asking for a PATRICIA ROCCO I think she gave the wrong number (MINE) to these people I called the phone company..they are no help at all.

WTF is calling ME asking for my GROWN, MARRIED, Out Of State, daughter???  LOL, they told me they were with some bank and it was a legal matter (they called me on my business line and my daughter would NEVER give that number!!)...I told them if it was a 'legal'' matter, they needed to contact an attorney! L;O L

It seems that this company is using the same scare tactic with everyone they call.  "Call us back by such and such time or we will file with the county clerk's office".  I get these calls too and have for the past couple of weeks. First off, who do they think they are DEMANDING I do anything?  I will call them back when I damned well feel like it and they will get my money when they send me something in writing agreeing to MY terms.  It is actually a debt collection agency out of Buffalo, NY called Creditors Interchange.  They are NOT attorneys, they are debt collectors.  They are chumps that lie.  Do they not think that if it was a real law office that it would show an actual name and number on the caller ID?

These people have been calling me for months, even at my place of work.  My boss told them to get lost and stop calling this number.  They used to call under 1-500-000-0000 and now they use 1-600-000-0000.  They even said they were going to report my boss to the HR department.  They are relentless.

Caller ID shows it only as 1-600-0, so let it go to voicemail.  Reviewed message which said  "... informing you that your Mastercard has been locked for security reasons.   To unlock it, please press 1 now."

How do I stop these calls. It use to be once in awhile,now I've gotten 4 in one day,just a few hours apart.
I dont know the company,I dont answer them.

got a call from 600-000-000 twice today.  I missed the first one, but answered the first one thinking that it may be important.
A woman told me that she's with bank of america, but didn't tell me her name.
When I told her that I was who she was looking for, she asked me to verify my property address.  She already knew my street address, so I told her the rest.
I asked her what this was about and she said she has to verify all the information before she can tell me.

Then she asked me what my monthly mortgage payment was.  I asked her again why she needed to know that information and she said she can't discuss it until all the information has been verified.

I told her I don't want to provide any more information until I know what this is about, then she said she understand and gave me a phone number to call back.  Why would I call back if they are going to ask me same information without telling me the nature of the call?

not going to call back, but rather call my bank of america mortgage division and asked why someone would call me about my property.

I think it's a scam.

I get a phone call on my cell phone every day from this number they never leave a message and i never answer this has been going on for months
