They call all day and night claiming to be a mortgage company, every 3-4 hrs. often at 2:00 AM How do I stop the madness? I have contacted the Phone company and they will trace the  number...

This number #600-233-1234 called 2 times on 4/2/2008 6:13pm & 8:14pm. @7:45p, on 4/3
on 4/6/2008 called 12:10pm, 2:11pm,6:12pm, 8:14pm, 10:14pm
THIS MORNING CALLED AT 2:15am, I ANSWERED TICKED OFF AND IT WAS A RECORDING ABOUT HOME MORTGAGE INTEREST RATES I followed directions to press one and talk to a rep. but the line went dead.

Stop this harassment Please.

keeps calling all hours of day and night..just a recording

annoying as heck.  called all day yesterday (it was a SUNDAY) and the auto message is someone saying it's possible to lower my mortgage rate, and press 1 if i wanted to do so.  i kept hanging up thinking it'll stop...but no.  i got the 4th call of the day at 1:04am, i finally pressed 1 so i could give them a piece of my mind.  BUT it just went blank after that.  I had to unhook my phone to avoid another call.  i can't imagine the purpose of why companies may do something so stupid like this.  i wish i knew if this # can be reported, i.e. to the BBB.

they continue to call us day and night, and its the same number and we- just like everyone else- tries to call back with no luck? We also try to speak to a person, but again its dead!!

How is this legal? We are going to try to call them in Canada after we get off the phone with our phone company!!!

HEY just FYI, we got off the phone with the phone company and there is nothing that they can do for us but they gave us an ANNOYANCE CALLS  number- CALL IT!!!

They left a message on my office line.  The call was from an Indian market research firm, looking for outsourcing work.  Presumably so they can make more calls and annoy y'all.

Caution, 600-223-1234 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain. In my case, I believe it was a call center located in India asking me to renew a scientific magazine subscription that I never signed up for

They call all the time and then never say anything. Maybe 2 times a day and just never say anything. It's so annoying

Some idiot with foreign accent, said something about calling from some "Green-" something unintelligible.

I hardly ever answer numbers I don;t recognize because it is typically BS. Especially when I answer and it is CLEAR that have no idea who I am - as in familiar with me. May the fleas of a thousand camels find his tent.

Call every day asking about refilling a prescription. Country code 44 I believe. I tell them to quit calling and now they call and say "luv you, luv you, etc" I don't get it.

I just received a call from this number - I'm in the UK. A man asked for me by name, but since he didn't identify himself like most businesses will and I didn't recognize his voice (asian?) I told him that he had the wrong number. He said "This isn't your number ?" and then repeated the number. I said that it was the right number, but he had the wrong name. He asked me if it was a new number to me and when I said it was he said he was sorry for wasting my time and said goodbye. So far no one has called me back and I'm really hoping they don't.

I dialed 1471 to find out what his number was and the entire number is 00 44 600 233 1234, which is strange. The double zero is the international dialing code and the double four is the country code for the UK, but the rest of the number doesn't fit for a UK telephone number.  It looks like a North American phone number ...but the country code doesn't match.  ??
