Scam artist trying to purchase cars using Paypal and western union utilising fake emails

Uses the name Janet Downey     JDJannyDown@Yahoo.com

sms messaged to my mobile, wanting to know if my car was still for sale. They wanted to talk via their email which is jdjannydown@yahoo.com. I told them all the info was on the net, what were they wanting information on? Still waiting for the reply, probably won't get one as I see this person is a scamer!!! Don't trust anyone.

I received the same text msg bout my car for sale this morning. Said she wants to buy my car and will pay with paypal. Dont think i will be sellin my car to her. Sounds a bit strange.

I also had a message stating this person wanted to buy my car urgently off trademe New Zealand and would only pay via paypal. The email address she wanted me to reply to was trishia_foxx@yahoo.com

just got one from her too. but email address is nowcscathysteph@gmail.com. but sms came from the same 60125477656 number.  Used the name Janet downey

Just got the same text from the same number using the same name in email

This person text asknig to purchase my vehicle, google the name and this came up, clearly a scam so be careful!

This was an email explantion of why this person wanted to purchase my car, I have reported it to the police.

Hi, I received the exact same message fromthe same email "thanks for the swift reply, what is your asking price...".  Glad I looked it up on the internet.  Thanks

Hi KP, no worries my concern with people like this is they obviously are trying ot set up meetings to actualyl get the vehicle from you without transacting the cash so the danger is someone actualy falling for the scam and letting this persons "reputable frieghters" take their vehicle away....the police have intenet scam teams to hunt down people like this so hopefully now I have reported it and given them all the details they will get straight onto it. Another thing to note here is NEVER PUT YOUR REAL SUBURB on an internet advert as these people can find out where you live and if its a steal to order vehicle you could be followed and your vehicle taken. NOT GOOD !!!!

yeah i got a text message asking if my car was for sale and then emailed them and got the same "Thanks for the swift reply" email. the email address was cscathysteph@gmail.com and the name was Janet downey.

I recieved a text from a scammer saying due to ear problems pls reply to bronoross@gmail.com.............Bahahahahaha try another sucker you scum bag go get a job and work for a living you low life.

Got the exact email myself last week. Told them bank cheque only and only after the money was cleared they could have my vehicle. I then said how stupid do u think i am. Havent had a reply

The latest message from this number is:

"I want to know if your vehicle is still available for sale, plz email me on; bronoross@gmail.com Bronoross  at  G  mail  dot  com"

Got the same txt message from bronoross@gmail.com. saying email only please, Thanks Brono. This came through at 1:30am, this is the third dodgy email/sms we have had about or car by different people or is it the same person? The other two claimed to be from QLD. Why the f@#k can't these people just let us sell our cars in peace! SCUM BAGS!

Got the same msg as you guys this wk from this number:

had the number +60125477656 enquiring about my car i was selling, asked me to only email him : bronoross@gail.com , sus as. clearly a scam. what country is that area code even from?

Had same text from Brono at 4am this morning - "Hi mate, I want to know if your vehicle on carsales is still avaible for sale, plz email me on: bronoross @ gmail . com Pls reply via email only, Cheers Brono". Glad I googled bronoross and found out it is not legit.
