Very rude foreign speaking man claiming to be a officer saying I will be arrested becuz I I have legal action against me ,,,, tired of this [***]

Yea my fiancée just got a call from this number foreign speaking guy claims a lawsuit is against him etc sounds very suspicious to me

Just had the  same thing happen to me...threating my job they have been calling me all day. so tired of these people.

I just got the same call! He's saying there's a warrant out for me and I've stolen money or something. And I was like, I just opened a bank account I'm sure there was a warrant I wouldn't be able to do that.

Some crazy foreign lady called couldn't understand anything she said hardly lmao, but get this her name was  Erica Wells?? I would think that Erica Wells would be an American name?? Anyways I returned the call some foreign man answers then proceeds to tell me that I took out a loan from US Funds and was deposited into my bank account, then US Funds went and tried to get the funds back out of my account, but the money was already gone?? I started laughing at this story as I for one have not applied for a loan with US Funds, and two, well I don't even have a banking,checking,savings account and I explained this to the little guy trying to speak some english... He then gets shockingly mad starts yelling that the police willl be serving me papers tomorrow plus they would take me to jail, he then asks me if I wanted him to start legal papers?? I replied why hell yes I do want you to start those damn papers & send the police to my house & put me in jail because I will be waiting right here for them! He then hung up on me... Blooming Idiots is all they are,welcome to AMERICA I guess right???

they did the same thing to me, don't listen to them. it is a hacker that hacks into sites where someone applied for a payday loan and they know some of your information--just enough to scare you.

threatening me with legal action and talking about the police will come get me as some of my personal information wanna know if anybody else get calls from this number

Just received this call and he swore I was some Corey guy and that I was going to get arrested at my job in El Paso Texas but hung up when I Todd him I live in Las Vegas so that's impossible. Crazy ass people these days!!

I just got a phone call from men he sound like he was reading off a card. Said that I owned 8,000.00 dollars because of a loan.  That if I didn't pay in the next 24one hours that the police would come to my place of business or my home and put me in jail to I paid all the money back.

Those number with the name Smith , they are scam , ignore and tell them their number will be reported to the police as they harrasing people

Message left at my work. And when i called back stated I had a law suit against me for a loan taken out back in September but they only had email that is a week old. Said was from a lawfirm called Simmons. Crazy

This is a law office and you need to call back with your attorney and I wish you luck

This guy keeps calling me and saying I will be arrested If I don't pay the loan I took from them online but I never took a loan. Very very rude people! I am tired of this.

This is a scam. It's a call center in India that buys US phone numbers. CNN did a report a couple of years ago, at that time they had a bunch of CA numbers. The callers have heavy Indian accents but super Anglo names like John Smith. The thing is in America the criminal justice system isn't involved in debt collection. If you really owed money for some loan, yes they could sue you, in civil court. They could even bring charges of fraud, but their collection agency or lawyer (whatever these callers pretend to be) wouldn't call and threaten with a law suit or arrest, you would recieve a court summons or notice of a warrant at your legal address . The fact that they immediately start threatening but will take a payment is a dead giveaway, plus the fact that they get really angry when you question their accent or Anglo name - one cursed me out and called me a [***] because I said he didn't sound like a Sean Smith and asked where he was from.

Just got a call from a forgein speaking guy and said that I had a lawsuit against me for a payday loan. I have never had a pay day loan.

I just got this same call from a guy with a very heavy accent. Telling me that I have a criminal case against me that he needed my attorney's  information. I told him okay serve me what you have to and that this is a scam he said that the police will come to my house with a subpoena and a arrest warrant . I told him ok Ill be waiting. This is a scam how they get your information is amazing.
