Called, no voice, nothing... misterious

Got a call. Didn't answer because I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I called back and got a message stating not a working number. Other sites say it's spam and a scam.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone.  No message.  Sick of the calls, do not call list doesn't work and is again another failed government deal that keeps getting money to do something they either aren't doing or aren't capable of handling.

Called 7/24 to DNC cell phone, I did not answer, no message left

Pretty much everything everyone said no answer.

Received a call this morning, didn't answer. They did leave a voicemail though, it was a guy and all he said was hi. Tried calling it back, but everytime I tried the call automatically ended without even ringing.

Missed call, no message, didn't pick up returned call.

Called on my cell.  Didn't leave a message.

Called me but I didn't answer. They left no message.
I do business with some people in this area so I dialed the number back
to see. It didnt even go through.

You really think these people that are calling you
are people that follow rules. They are not going to check a list.  Most of these calls are scams
and are random dialed numbers all day long anyway. Guarantee your
do not call list is working for you though. The legit companies are following those
rules.  Why do you think so many scammers say that they are some sort of non-profit origination.
Thats the easiest way to try and scam you. Cause most of the NPO are exempt from the
DNC list and are allowed to call. THere is not much that can be done about these calls.
Sorry to say it. Hard to trace and most are robo calls and are remote dialed too. Meaning
they  automatically dial  and where the number says they are from

It was a call from a company to discuss lowering interest rates on your credit card... we don't carry a balance on our cards so I didn't push 1 to talk to a rep.

junk call from unknown source, didn't answer, no message

This number is a scam - I pressed "1" to attempt to verify DNC status and the person on the other line told me to "shut the f#$@" up and hung up.  The number will not allow return calls.  I have alerted the FBI, FCC, and my District Attorney's fraud unit.  The caller's exchange is in Vicksburg, Mississippi and I am working with AT&T in Mississippi to attempt to press charges and shut this operation down.

Automated call, said to lower interest rate on my credit card to press one.  I have not credited cards, so was curious to why they were calling me.  So, I pressed one, some women answered.  I asked what this was in reference to, and she did not response.  After I said hello is anyone there, I was hung up on.

Called hung up when i answered tried to call it back recording. said not a working number

message claimed they could lower credit card interest. Person claimed to represent my bank. When I asked for the name of my bank they hung up.

Called me and another family member and left no message. When I tried to call back the number wouldn't go through.

Same thing happened to me, I just hung up esp. since I don't even have credit cards

They call me to but they are scams they say you have left over money on a credit card you never even heard of and they use fake names they also trick you for your credit card number so they can use it

I received a pre-recorded message that told me to press 1 to lower my credit card interest rate to 6%. When i pressed 1, a person asked if I pressed 1 to lower my interest rate. I told him, "No, I want to know how you got my phone number and what credit card you represented." He told me my mom told them to call me, then proceed to insult my mother and hung up.

Probably some guy trying to pay his way through college.
