I also called the Jacksonville police department but couldn't get anyone to take me seriously.  They were rude.  I called the local police as well.  Please-call CPS and report this to them.  Maybe someone can get something done!

I posted an ad on craigslist last night offering day care and then today I get a call from this same creep. He started out harmless enough enough and then went into the same crap as the other people have stated on here. He even wanted to know what all I was spanked with when I grew up and how many licks I got and how old I was when it stopped also wanted to know if I had to pull my pants down. He also asked me if I would spank his 4 yr old daughter with a switch with her pants down and hit her 6 to 10 times. He is a creep.

Everytime I have posted an ad for childcare this man has called. Never asks my rates or anything of interest just how I disipline the kids. Ive told him I wasnt comfortable spanking any kid. I didnt think anything of the call until Later when I was thinking about it. I no longer post my Phone number but constantly wonder about the call.

I also received a call from this number as well i thought it was very creepy that all he wanted to know was how i disciplined my children he wanted me to pull his 4yr old daughters pants down and hit her on her bare bottom which as a mother i would not want any childcare facility to hit my children on there bare bottom much less touch them. He did not want to know rates or anything i thought to myself that sounds like a someone out to hurt our children DO NOT ANSWER HIS PHONE CALLS VERY CREEPY WEIRDO!!!!!!!!!

ok--same thing happened to me last year.  It made me nervous too, but I never reported it.  Has he been found???????

I talked to the same guy about discipline, and I was so nieve that I talked to him several times and even let him listen to me spank my children over the phone. He said he lived in Tyler, Tx by the wal-mart on 110, but after I told my husband what happened, he looked up his number and it was not a cell phone like he told me, but a land line in Mississippi. I was trying too play coy after I got scared, so I assured him that I would meet with him about keeping his "daughter", but I needed him to ask my husband when would be a good time. Well, he never called my husband or called me back again. I was going to notify the police and have someone come if we did meet.

He told me his name was Bill Johnson, and his wife was Donna, and his daughter was Lisa (4) and asked in depth how I discipline my children and if I would be firm with his daughter and spank her hard. He said she was a very strong willed child and needed to be spanked a lot, but I never heard him say one good thing about her, like I love her or she is doing better, only negative like he got some kind of thrill out of beating a child. I explained to him that I train my children out of love for them and Christ as we are commanded by Christ and he just said " Well yeah, you know what I mean".

I asked to talk with his "wife" because she was apparently the main disciplinarian, but he said she was shy and only wanted to talk to me in person, because she was scared I would think they were too hard on their daughter and call the police on them.

This happened at the beginning of August 2008. Please be careful of strange people out there and always use good judgement. If it feels wrong or not safe then get out of there or don't continue to talk with them, they can be so deceiving! God Bless you all! If you find out that he got caught, someone post about it so we all know!

I have talked to this man also, and now i'm doing something about it.
