It is APS collections trying to collect on an overdue bill.

it is from phoenix Aps.. they left voice message saying that they were calling due to the massive power outage in phx areas. and if outage was still out then call them back.. and if power was back on, disregaurd message...

They left pre recorded voicemail that they had a problem processing my payment yet I never made a payment with them. I don't even live in the Phoenix nor any towns around there.

SCAM!!! They called to say someone is one their way to disconnect the power within the next 30-45 minutes. They gave me the following number to call 844-628-0904. Do NOT call that number
The number they are calling from is legitimate for APS, but I assure you this is a scam. I just talked to APS, they never call on the day of a disconnect, they will send you notices in the mail. Contact APS with any information you may have about them.

I also just remembered he said they had called the prior day about it. Total lie

Called business to say APS payment must be made immediately.  Call 844-331-3291, ext. 3504.  Total SCAM!  Per real APS

Got a call today 2:10 pm. Caller ID said Peoria City Gov. Only rang twice. The phone number actually belongs to Arizona Public Service.

Received call from this number stating that they are APS and our power will be cut off in 30-45 min due to non-payment or a problem with our meter. Gave us an 1-800 number. I called the actual customer service number and asked them about this. They said it is a SCAM. They only send disconnect notices in the mail or with their automated system. Do not give them money or call the 1-800 number!!!

Today ( Sunday 23rd Dec' 2018) Received a call from this ging( number ‭602-371-7171‬) claiming to be from APS and coming to disconnect the line of I don't pay my over due bills... I have auto-pay setup and do pay all my bills on time.  This is a SCAM... Just ignore them.

The call displayed "APS Residential" as the caller. The phone number is a valid number for the Arizona Public Service, but this particular caller was spoofing the number as a ruse to get people to answer. The ca;ller (a man with a foreign accent-possibly east Asian) was selling solar power systems. I hate when crooks use valid numbers to cover up illicit calls. A similar thing happened recently when I received a call from a local hospital, but the crook was hawking health insurance and was not with the hospital. Why can't something be done to stop these crooks?

They left a computer generated voicemail which says, "This is the billing department, your account is due for disconnection within the next 45 minutes. For immediate assistance, please press one to contact customer service for more information, Thank you"
I haven't had an APS account since 2012 when I moved out of state.

It's a scam. They have found some way to mirror APS' actual number. APS will never call you and say that your service will be disconnected within a matter of minutes. Bogus. Never pay anyone in any form. Always call the real company when unsure.
