Progressive Financial -collection agency

This number called me, Progressive Financial, with an automated personal message for the individual who lived in my house TEN YEARS AGO.  (And of course our phone number is not even close to what their old number was.  The first 3 numbers are different now!).

Are they even allowed to call me??  I have no relation to this person, and I have only had my new phone # for 2-1/2 years (it was a second line and now is my primary number) and it has been on the "Do Not Call" List since it was first hooked up.

Spam call.  When I answered an automated message told me to hold, and then it started to play hold music.  I prompty hung up.

Received 2 calls right in a row from this number @ my place of employement. This is a business # they called. On the second call I stated. "Please give me the courtesy of a reply before you hang up on me." They still hung up without any comments. VERY annoying. I don't have time for these type of calls as we are busy and have limitted staff.

If it is a collection agency perhaps they have an old phone number for someone as we recently added another phone line. None  the less VERY UNPROFESSIONAL how they handle their calls.

These people are even calling my brother & sis-in-law's place of residence looking for me, when I never even listed them for ANYTHING!!

I am getting harrassed by these people! I got 3 phone calls in less than an hour last night. They are calling me on average 6 times a day!

Change your number!!!! Do it often!!!!

Keeps calling me with a recording saying hold please wth  wish it wouldn't call me  again

I have the same problem as many of you. I am not in debt trouble with anyone, so I have no idea why they are calling. They call every day, sometimes more than once a day. If I answer the darn robot puts me on hold. I have tried this a few times to talk to some human to tell them to stop calling, but they never pick up. It is hold forever. I am on the do not call lists, so I would like to know how to make some kind of complaint about about this. I'm sure all of you would too.

somehow these [***] clowns got all the phone numbers on our tmobile account and are harassing us and our children. i called tmobile - they said they don't give out numbers of other to collection agencies, but how else would they have gotten all our numbers? however they obtained our numbers, i am sure this is not legal.

fyi, I called back today at 12:30pm, it was for a khols card i got behind on.  the lady was nice (maybe she just had lunch lol), told her i wasn't working, of course she went through the spill of 'can you ask friends or family', i said no. She simply verified contact info & said that collections would continue until i can get back on my feet and she hopes that i have a better day. Suprisingly polite (I know there are some jerk bill collectors out there)...

i just got enough this [***] keep calling despite  I am not in debt trouble with anyone,,, ran my credit and came out fine, no idea how they got my number,,,,,,,,, i answered and they hang up on me.....will call my phone service provider and see if they can block this clowns???? can these [***] be sued?

A guy named Rudy called very verbally abusive wanting my husband on the phone. He would not say "who" he was calling for just his name and I better get my husband on the phone. Of corse I hung up and within a minute he called all 3 children's phones. My teenage daughter said he's called before and scared her. I have had the number blocked. We are on the no call registry also. Scary the way he was talking !!!

Called me at 1:42 a.m.  WTF??!!

Just got a call and as soon as no one speaks I always hang up. My brother lived with me for a few months and I am sure it is a call for him. He needs to declare bankruptcy and be done with it.

They called me today from progressive its a automated machine talking they are getting really annoying someone help stop these people from harassing everyone home number family and my cell phone!!!!!!!!!!!! ASAP

These felchers are extremely desperate.  I am in my 40s, married, with four grown children.  They are calling me about a debt that is over 10 years old, so it is no longer a valid debt.  Anyway, they are so desperate, they found my parents and my brother's phone numbers, calling them trying to reach me!  I've never given any information or phone numbers of my family to any of my creditors at any time and it is so foolish of these f*cktards to be calling them.  These b*stards need to be shut down immediately!
