beware!   a  call  from  this  number  is  a  debt  collection  scam ~ they  are  phishing  for  info ~

602-635-3897 is for Portfolio Recovery Associates as of 12/11/2013.

I get calls from them every week.  No message is ever left.  Caller ID says Portfolio Recovery.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.

They never leave a message.  They call from different numbers all the time.

Another junk debt collector trying to make anything off of uncollectable debts.

This is portfolio recovery..been calling my phone for a couple years...they always change numbers and sometimes hide their name. Thanks to however invented CALL BLOCK !

Received call they left no msg.  Caller ID shows up as Portfolio Cov.  Also received calls from other numbers all with the same ID, This is Robo call, collection agency?  I blocked.

Got a call from this number said that I was in collections for a credit card. That I don't even use.  Gave me the wrong social security number.  As is my rule I don't give information over the phone.  They hung up. Be careful don't give them any information. They also called from a 404-909-8732

Calls everyday 2 to 3 times a day and doesn't leave a message.
I wish they would stop

This is an aggressive Debt Recovery business.  They use automated callers.  They use multiple names and multiple numbers.  Their calls often are listed as "Unknown" or "Out of Area" or sometimes only a phone number in the Caller ID Screen.  Although limited by law, they will often call outside the legal dates and times allowed.  They ignore the law and do not fear being caught calling illegally.  They just want to get you on the phone so you can be harassed.

These folks have been calling a Google Voice number that I never really use but gets answered with a recording. It was two years before I even realized they somehow got the number and had been calling almost every day for two years. So now they are into their third year of calling a number that gets answered by a recording. I wonder how much they have spent so far calling a number that never reaches a human but gets answered. If by chance one of these scammers reach you ask that they send you a copy of any credit agreements you signed, more than likely they don't have it, they have nothing.

They call everyday Saturday and Sunday say they are calling about a debt and to call back. Don't owe or have a debt  that's unpaid at all.

It does no good, I have been reporting these same people for over 3 years!  They do nothing!
