Keep getting calls from this number do not know anyone in this area code

2 calls from this number tonight 9th june 2011.  apparently the code 602 is pheonix arizona, tho i dont know anyone from that area.

I was looking into this Elite World Systems and have received 10 calls in 3 days. Unsure if this is a scam. I am located in Western Europe.

day in day out keeping getting calls do not answer ignore it 300 million people in the usa and they call me in australia why? who knows

i have also received a call from this number and i'm also from Australia.... very random...

Also receiving calls in Sydney Australia from this number and will not answer it. Would like to know why we are receiving these calls?

Same number called me too, but I'm just outside London in the uk. I amswered but they just hung up????

I am also in Australia and apparently we must of all entered our details on a website or another. I will say that the only place I've entered anything recently was during a moment weakness looking at a work from home site, I did not lodge that form, but perhaps actually submitting the form wasn't required for them to snag the details.

Got  three calls from same number on August 5, 2011. The last call was at 11.15 pm. I picked up the phone but no one answered.

I kept getting calls from +1 602 7737740 for the past two days.... I checked online and I saw just now that people eslewhere are getting calls from the same number.  I am in Newcastle, Australia and I don't know anyone from Arizona.

I am not expecting any calls from anyone in Arizona as well.

I am also in Aus and I had 2 missed calls today after I had submitted some information on a website for work from home the other day & when it came to payment I got out of it..

It is Elite World Systems. They are a telemarketing company based in Phoenix, Arizona. I live in New Zealand and have had dealings with them. Their website is http://www.eliteworldsystems.com - they are helping me set up a website that is supposed to become a money making thing, and I have paid for training packages and Search Engine Optimisation of my website. Whilst the training has taught me useful stuff about HTML, I am not convinced the SEO aspect is working.

Received calls from them for a few times and when I finally answered, its to do with 'working from home' application that I submitted online.

They are company called Elite World System, trying to teach you how to set up your website.  Starting package from USD1.95 and available for 5 days.  After that, it will be USD29.95 every month.

The salesperson will call you again once you sign up to go thru with you the website.  Then, they will fix another date to go thru with you their training programs which can costs you anywhere from AUD200++ to AUD4k++.

I did not sign up cos the amounts were just too huge.  Mr Chris McCarthy, the Sales Director, finally agreed to cancel my account, I hope, as he mentioned just today, 8th Mar 2012, at 12.30noon,since I was not willing to sign up any of the training programs.

I read in a few other forum pages, that this company is a scam, but I am not too sure.  I was only charged USD1.95 plus the USD29.95, I guess pretty much to cover their call charges for talking to me for 2 hours.

I have informed my bank to not accept any further charges into my card from this company, just in case they continue to charge me the monthly charges again.

these people are rip off artists out to take your money DO NOT sign up with them or pay them for training packages, I am in New Zealand and have just had dealings with them also, they DO NOT refund your money and there a lot of people trying to get their money back........

I actually have been partially refunded my money. Still $3500 short. I told them first by e-mail and then by phone that I wanted out and wanted my money back. Be clear about your intentions and tell them that you will report them to the Ministry for Commercial Affairs. Person you want to have hold of on the phone if E.W.S. ring is Gene Schneider, at least thats who dealt with me.
