I called back several times to get a question or two answered.  The machine that called me told me that I had talked to them before, that at that time I did not qualify for their services, but that now their records indicated that I did.  I could not remember ever talking to them before and was sincerely hoping they did not have a file on me.  I was just trying to understand this situation and kept getting hung up on.  I kept calling back until I could actually speak to a person and have my questions answered.  Eventually, I was just being abused by whoever answered the phone using expletives and inappropriate sexual references.  I would really like to call someone about his...I am completely appalled by the language of a supposedly professional organization.  I would really like to see them out of business.

I have received numberous messages on my office phone from someone stating we spoke previously and I should call back to discuss debt consolidation.  My caller id shows this number although their message tells me to call 866-259-7016.  I called 6 times this morning to ask them to remove my number from their call lists and each time I was hung up on.  How can I make them stop?

For the past month or two I have received several calls a day from this number.  I also am hung up on whenever I try to speak to a person.  I have told them I shall report them... it doesn't stop..  Grrrr

I have called them back at least 20 times a day just to see how they like being cussed at and hung up on.

They don't like it when you blow a siren in the phone, i found that out today. They said f*%k you. So I called them back over and over anf they did not think it was funny. I SURE DID

I just spoke to him, he apologized and said that within 48 hours the calls will stop. I hope it works!!! He will need the number(s) you have received calls from to put a stop to it.

I have had it! These people call everyday...sometimes at 7:30-8am (Kansas time) in the morning on a Saturday and Sunday! That has to be illegal! They do not even speak very well English which pisses me off to even try to understand them. But I tell you...they cuss perfect English! I asked how they got my info and demanded the company information and they cussed me out, called me a stupid b**ch and hung up@! I have tried to block the many many numbers they call from, but AT&T that I have as my home provider sucks and says they are a legal number. So now what? I have even had some calls from other companies about 'car warranties' calling my cell phone. Its a prepaid and that just burns my minutes. How do these companies get our numbers and how can we stop our phone companies from selling them if its them? AHHHHHHHH!

These jerks keep calling me as well.  I am on the donotcall.gov list, but not for the 31 days that they require before you can call and make a complaint. I have 2 more weeks of these [***] calling me.  If you have not done it already, then go to www.donotcall.gov and register your numbers.  You will get a confirmation email to verify it, then wait 31 days.  If these jerks keep calling you, then you can at least file a complaint.  Perhaps if enough of us complain the FTC will do something about these people.

They keep calling they say the same thing to everyone that you have called them before which is lies because I just got this number about 2 months ago and I never gave it to a debt solutions place I would never even use such service! Why in the world would they even think I've got debit? and that I need help with my debit? People with no debit are getting these calls as well! I've blocked there number and they called me back from a San Jose, Ca number which I deleted from my caller ID and blocked then they called me from 714-682-8393 under the name debt solutions then I blocked it and now they are calling me from 603-214-3506 under the name Health Assoc. They are scammers! The law should put a stop to them Fine them something we are getting harassed it is so annoying!!!!!!

I have been getting calls from these jerks since we got our new house phone about 3 months ago. They call from @ least 2 different phone #s. Me and my husband have never had a house phone before and a week after we got this one they start calling us saying the same thing they have to all of you, that they spoke to us before and we qualify for there debt consolidation program. WE HAVE NO DEBT and its really getting frustrating!!!! I finally played it off like and did have 15,000 debt and was able to speak to someone who could speak english and after a min of talking to her I asked if I could just be taken off there calling list that i had changed my mind about using there services and i was imediately transfered back to the lady who u normally cant understand but as she cused me out i heard her loud and clear. she called me a fu*@ing liar and a stupid b*&ch and told me im bull sh@*! over and over. I was like "excuse me!!" and said some other things back and she just kept saying those things and then hung up! Iam sick of it and that was the last straw for me. no one i dont know needs to talk to me like that! I want it to stop but dont know how! I will have to try the suggestions you all gave!

Have been recieving calls daily or more often where it is a pre-recorded message saying that we have talked before and after looking at my file they think they can help. They have never talked with me, nor do I have any debt. Who are these scumbags, how did I get on their call list?

Says his name is John Stevens lol, I push 1 and ask to speak to John Stevens leaves the person on the other end dumb founded, they usually hang up on me however one guy actually told me he wasn't in the office, I aske dfor his voice mail lol, then he hung up.  OK fun over I am receptionist and we have approx 15 lines these jerks can call in on.  how do we stop this????

John Stevens toll free number is 866-216-0842.  Called it to get removed and they just hung up.  After a few times you can tell the operator's voices so it is a small boiler room operation.  Just keep calling (hey it's toll free and costs them everytime you call :)  After 20+ calls (isn't redial great) while watching a movie they got annoyed and actually talked to me.  Took down my number and said they'd remove it.  We'll see.  

More fun is to have your fax machine call them.  Most fax machines will redial several times until the fax goes through and best of all the telemarketers will hear a fax squeal so they know's what's happening.  Seems fair to me.  Why not tie up their lines and annoy them for a change?
