Home Secruity Group they keep calling me all  hours of the day and for the 1st ten times they said nothing. The last few times they talked but I keep asking to take my number off of the calling list and they don't

Some home security group. The conversation sounded like a recording keyed in to respond based on key words. Probably a scam, seeing as how a new hampshire based security group is unlikely to call a hawaii cell phone otherwise.

Unsolicited calls day & night

It is illegal. I have filed a complaint against numerous telemarketers through the do not call registry once I registered my number. So far, every single one of them has stopped so I truly believe the registry does follow up on the complaints. That's our best defense against these jerks.

Just got a call on my work cell, same security group asking if they can give me free security system if they put a sign in my yard. I asked for how long, they replied that a specialist would call me back if I was interested. They asked me for my name, I gave it to them (don't tell me how stupid I am, I know) they asked me if I owned the home I lived in, I said yes, they reminded me how convenient it is to have a security system, thanked me for my time, asked me to stay by the phone to get the call from the specialist, and hung up. I know the call is a scam of some type, I just don't get what harm they can make with only a cell phone number (that's not under my name) and my name, no other info.

I got a call from this number yesterday, Thursday, February 24, 2011, when I was still in school. There was no voice mail message left and they didn't try call back.

TAX CHEK :: Some scam about assistance filing income taxes for only $19.95.

Said they were a company to cut your tax penalties owed in half!!  I have not owed taxes ever!!!

Received a few a unsolicitedt calls in my home and cell phone, interrupting my conversation with friends, and am not very pleased.

This phone number has called my cell phone 3 times today. I'm in the Seattle, WA area. Like with several others, I just called the number and got a greeting message--"If you don't want to get any more phone calls concerning our current promotions, please press 1 to be removed and placed on a do not call list."  No mention of what company it is or any identifying stuff other than something about promos. Will have to see what happens!  I may come back and post with an update!
