Anyone received calls from this number?

That number called me 2 hours ago. I didn't recognize it and they didn't leave a message. Sounds like a new pest.

I just got the call from this number a couple minutes ago. no message left

Just got a call. Recorded message said there was a problem with my credit card. I waited until a person on the line, asked what the issue was they hung up. Either a scam or a company selling credit cards. I am listed as a no call for telemarketers. System is not very effective.

did a google search on the name connected to the number ...Centannio Fiorenzo or whatever it was ....found his obituary from 2009....the dead now have phones

Je viens de recevoir un appel de 604-255-1493. Le message en anglais dit qu'il y a un problème avec ma carte de crédit.  N'importe quoi.  Je n'ai pas appuyé sur le "1" comme demandé.

Just got a call from this number, had a recording about lowering my credit card interest rate. Said to press one for more information, so I did. Got an East Indian female on the phone that when I asked what company she represented, claimed Credit Card Services. Hung up then, sounds like a scam to get your info by claiming they can lower your interest on your cards.

Received call and went to voicemail without a message being left !! Good thing that this site is available !!

Called 22/01/14 at 3:55 pm. No message.

I got it 22/01/2014 at 5:54pm mountain time. It said very important meesange for credit card something. How can I stop receiving it?

The scammers are rising from hibernation.  Ignore the phone.

Here in winnipeg the calls have started again! Yet another number to BLOCK!

They are attempting fraud. They called me about my high credit card interest. I have no credit card. I asked her which card she is referring to... A few more questions and she hung up when I told her I suspect her of attempted fraud.

The telemarketer does not have to comply with what you have.  They can call and do call when they want.  The system can't stop them.

I had a call from this number  at 4:59 MST. No message. Reporting to telus.

What has happened to the do not call system? I have received three calls in the last 12 hours from this number and I leave it for the answering machine but no message is ever left. I work shift work so my sleep is necessary and calls like this disturb that.

Got a call at 14:14 Pacific today to my Canadian-Do-Not-Call landline from these scammers, saying "second call" (untrue!) to help me lower my credit-card interest-rate to 6% for the rest of my life, as long as I make the minimum monthly payments.  

I pressed '1' after twice hearing this automated message, and after a few rings, got a Pakistan/India sounding male voice, first asking me whether I had Mastercard or Visa, and then asking for the expiry-date (Wha???) on my card, so that he could confirm my current balance, and my credit-limit.  (That's not enough information for him to call my bank, and "spoof" them to claim to be me -- identity-theft -- but, he probably would be later asking me for more personal detail, until he had enough info.)

He claimed to be from "Credit Card Services", representing both Mastercard and Visa.

Lots of background noise from other scammers, also talking on their telephones.

When I stated that since he was calling me, he must know my name and telephone-number, and he could therefore retrieve the details.  At that point, he hung up.

This number called today - didn't answer as unknown to us and then discovered it was another fraud. Tried to have that number "Call Screen" by Telus but they won't allow it to be screened for some silly reasons. Again, Telus is complicit with fraudsters.

Just got a call from this number. No message.  Very annoying as I was in the middle of something and had to run upstairs for the landline.

i received a call from this number a couple of days ago.  I just tried calling it and now it says the number is no longer in service.
