I have no idea who they are -- they've been calling my cell phone leaving no messages.

probably this number belongs to rogers company..they call you for your opinion about customer care when you buy pay as you go phone or any other plan ...

if its rogers cust svc they've got a real scam. as payasyougo, I am getting charged every time they call and leave no msg.

It's Voicemail access number for Rogers Customers in Vancouver area.  All Rogers Mobile Customers who have voicemail connect through that number to their own voicemails.  I doubt very much if anyone is getting called on their home phones by someone from that number

Ok guys, I sorted it out with Rogers Wireless today. It's not fraudulent. Pay-as-you-go customers pay for all access to voicemail. So if someone gets the voicemail and decides to hangup instead of leaving a message, you will still be charged for a minute worth of time. Your Summary shows the 604-618-1142 number, but that's not who is making the call, it just representing how long the voicemail was active.

that is right for rogers pay as you go customers you get charged for some one leaving a message  and when you go to retrive you voice messages under this number on your bill.  Even for the hang ups.

I have just discovered about a dozen calls from 604-618-1142 on my Rogers Pay-As-You-Go account. They started in May 2014, and I am charged 0.40 cents for each call. The call is listed as "Voicemail received" but since I use this phone very rarely, it is hardly ever turned on, and my voicemail box is empty. What is going on?
