calls 10 times a day and never leaves a message

I don't know who these people are but they call every day and never leave a message. Who are they? Are they Scammers or what?

Gentleman asked for me by name and asked if I was interested in making a few extra thousand a week in only 10 hours a week. I asked what company it was and he mention Internet Business Systems. He asked a series of questions about my credit cards preference and even asked what I did for a living. He said he wanted me to listen to a 3 minute message but had to ask some questions first. I was being so uncooperative he ended up hanging up. The background was extremely noisy. After I answered with a No in regards a question from Bill Anderson manager., he said that we must have a bad connection and he will call me back ,  we'll he did t return the call until an hour later .and I didn't answer it,, it's a scam but not sure what kind!!!
