I live in Los Angeles. I have heard that this is the LA Times and also that it is a minneapolis newspaper. I never answer and I receive this call about 2-3 times a week.

Caller ID said "VAF". Woman said she was from what sounded like Kevin Homes and asked if I was ?? at (gave my address).  I asked who she was again and I thought she said she was with something like Kevin Homes and then she said she was calling to see if I received a large green bag they delivered to my house that was filled with ads and stuff.  I told her I was on the do not call list and she should not be calling me at all and I did not see anything delivered to me.  (I checked after the call, and there was nothing).

I have been getting calls from "VAF" every day for the last two weeks. Automated message(s) left say "this is a service verification call"; message(s) sometimes begin with live human voice asking if I am home. I do NOT subscribe to any service by the name of "VAF".

Just got ANOTHER call from "VAF" -- the second one today. Answered it, and was told I could get a great deal on a subscription to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Funny, I recall telling the same woman that I was definitely NOT interested at least twice previously in the past two months.....

I have been away and have received the same message almost evey day for two weeks.  I live on the east coast but it may be the same company to get me to subscribe to a local paper.

this call was a sales marketing PRE_RECORDED message, calling to sell term life insurance. This company is NOT following the no call list rules and should be reported.
