I keep getting calls to call back this number 605-610-0358 and they are leaving a message for someone that does not live in my house.  when I try to call the # back to tell them to stop calling I get a fast busy.  They have  been calling for months today is the first day I actually answered when they called.  It is a recording and they never give you an opportunity to speak to someone it just hangs up.  The message is the same as what they leave on the aswering machine.  I do not have caller ID so I do not know what number they are actually calling from.  Just wish they would stop.

605-610-0358. Caller ID comes up as 336-543-2319. Company name is Total Card. Not sure why they are calling me or my in-laws, the message said this was about a business I was involved in (sounds like a scam). Their automated message says this is a debt collector, but no one ever answers the phone. I held for 7 minutes for a live person.

Lets call the FBI and report these people who are calling our homes from this number and business location. Fight them back.

And you will have to pay for those calls. Maybe a scam from this company and our cell phone companies. Good manner of making (stealing) money.

Kept getting calls from a variety of numbers all requesting a return call to 605-610-0358, which turned out to be Total Card, a debt collection agency.  Finally returned a call on 7/13/11 and spoke to "Lisa".  After I explained to her that I had no outstanding debts, there are thousands of people with my name, and they shouldn't be contacting me, she demanded that I give her the last 4 digits of my soc sec number so that she could verify it.  I explained that I wouldn't consider doing that, but that I would let her know if my number matched if she would share the digits for the person she needed to contact.  (I get a a plethora of debt collection calls because of my name, and other companies have done this in the past to help expedite things.)  She refused to do this, and when I stated that I wanted the calls to stop, she said they would continue to call until I provided her with the information requested.  I looked up the company on the internet and emailed Paul Simon, who was the only specific name on their web site.  He never did reply, and the calls began again on 7/26/11.  After ignoring a few, I returned the call today and spoke with "Ann" (thick accent, so unsure of her name).  After reviewing the history of the problem with her, she provided me the last digit of the soc sec number for the person they need to contact, and I was able to tell her I was not that person.  She stated they would remove my number from their list.  We'll see if they actually do it.  In the past whenever I've made contact with debt collection agencies and have been able to speak with a reasonable person so that we can get the situation to this point, I haven't been bothered again.

Been getting calls twice a day on voicemail.  Asking for the name "Thompson" about a business matter.  Have mad this phone number for 5 years; have no idea who "Thompson".  What to do?

See my notes above.  Calling back and talking with a reasonable person usually solves the problem.  Just be careful about sharing personal information.  After all, they already have your phone number.

The call on my voice mail was from 205-547-2079, which is obviously a sham number because the call-back says 605-610-0358. The robo-message refers to a business matter I'm supposedly involved in (I'm not in any business) and to call them at that 605 number. I just checked my birth certificate and the date on it isn't yesterday's.

Same happens to us. They keep calling for a Vishnu.

This number is calling me at work about "business" but unable to speak to a real person.  Suspect it is some collection agency trying to reach my ex-husband.  Won't give out any information.

This number is associated with Allied Interstate as well, another collection agency.  What happened to me was, I get calls from 8776421263 twice a day.  I don't answer.  Then sometimes, I immediately get a call following that from any of various cell numbers.  They leave a computer generated message on my voicemail, saying my name, saying its not a marketing call, saying its about business I am conducting, and saying to call 605-610-0358.  The 605 number is for Total card.  The 877 number is for Allied Interstate.

Calling my house looking for someone who does not live here. Can't call them back!

I have been recieving calls from this number as well asking to speak to my ex-husband who does not live here . My husband dissappeared over 10 years ago I was able to speak to one of their representatives who informed me that my information was given as a contact and wanted to know when I could make a payment regarding this account. I am filing a report with my local police department .

I have also been getting automated calls with a message saying " this call is for Louis Smith, this is not a marketing call but a call regarding a business you are conducting", return our call @ # 605-610-0358 but funny, caller ID # shows as 215-717-8219. These scammers need to be caught and soon.
Would someone do something, please! REPORT THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!

I recieved a call from this number looking for my ex-husband who I have not heard from for 25 years.  It said it was about a business he had.  I called back & told them he does not live here & please take my number off.  He said he would . Asked how they got my number.  Said when they cant find will go back to old relatives, etc.  Aswered phone as Total card. My phone number is also unlisted.

I got a call from that same number and called them back letting them know the person they were looking for I don't know and of couse is not at my phone #.
They were very polite and said they would take my # off their list.
