Spam call about winning some contest

Same thing. 2 calls just today. I wouldn't answer if I were you. Probably a scam or sales call.

Received call from (607)-203-5692 on October 21, 2014 at 5:42pm. I noticed it was a NY number and I do not know anyone from NY so I ignored the call and waited for awhile to see if they left a message. They did not. I blocked the number and reported it on this website!

I got a call today, automated call, claiming to be an alarm co. that got my name from a friend as someone that would be interested in an alarm system. had 2 selections at the end of the call; press 1 for more info, or press 2 to get your name off of their list. I pressed 2, but my husband thinks it was probably some data miner looking for live phone #'s. they then turn around and sell these lists to other companies, by pressing any # you have just told them that it is a live #. I'll know better next time! putting on my blocked list.

Call coming for NY - but no message left.

Just now called my cell and i only answered it because i was expecting a call and didn't check the number first.
A recorded message came on with a woman's voice saying it wasn't a sales call, then i hung up in frustration.
came here to check and see what was up. Looks like they are on a tear today.

Received a call around 6:45 on October 21, 2014. I don't know anyone from that area code so I did not answer.

I purchased a new phone w/ a new # & received a call today. I did not answer.

This number calls me on my work cell phone which is not public information so it must just autodial numbers.  Have received calls all this week.

They called my cell number and told me that I was eligible for a free alarm system

I just got a call from this number. It rang 3 times and then they hung up I guess. I didn't answer it, nor do I know anyone with that area code.

No message was left so I ignored it. It's likely spam.

I received a call, did not answer but no message was left, I guess it's not urgent.

I got a call from this number at 12:30pm today, didn't answer and there was no message left. According to the other comments it looks like it might tell you that you were refered by a friend for a security system. I got this exact call a few days ago from a number in Michigan 269 area code so that's weird.

Received this call a few seconds ago, noticed the NY area code, and while I know people with a 607 area code did not recognize the phone number. I didn't answer the call and no voicemail was left so I'm guessing it follows along with what everyone else is saying.
