Dept. of Ed SM = Sallie Mae. Has called me twice today, no messages left.

Sally Mae. This number left 11 voice mails between 8am and 8:30am. Ignoring it, as I have ignored all of the other millions of numbers that belong to these leeches.

Sallie Mae. It is nearly 11:00 at night and I just received a second phone call from them since 10:30

They call me non-stop from 6 AM to midnight every single day. I've been at work since 6 am and still am at work. I have received 14 phone calls from them from 2 different phone numbers and not one single voicemail.

They have been calling me about 11-15 times a day since last week, including Saturdays starting at 8:30 am! Driving me crazy! And they don't leave messages and then when you call it back, it's busy or no one answers.

They are relentless!!!!!  they call 2-3 times a day!!!!!! no message!!!1

Got tired of repeated calls.  Filed a formal complaint with my state's Attorneys General Office.  It ticked me off when a recording immediately asked for my social security number.  The real Sallie Mae would send a letter.

Have gotten repeated calls from this number.  The caller states that they are from Sallie Mae about a student loan, and they ask for personal information.  DO NOT provide personal information over the phone, especially to someone who called you.  We have contacted Sallie Mae directly, and they are unaware of these calls, and we do not have an outstanding loan.  Is this a scam of some sort?

Due to all of the phone scams I've heard of lately, with receiving calls every day, at least one, for the past week from this number, I finally got around to Google it and found these posts.  

I don't answer numbers that don't have caller ID and I refuse to call a number back from someone who doesn't leave a message.  Like others have said, if it's the real Sallie Mae and they want to relay information to you, they will send a letter or email asking you to contact them.  

Sallie Mae always leaves a voice mail.  This is obviously a scam.  When you call back it is a recording immediately asking for social security number.  Call the regular Sallie Mae and see what it sounds like.  Don't be an odoot

Calls randomly. Sometimes automated, other times a real person.

this number keeps calling about 3-4 times a week. has never left a voice message. i get text messages and mail from sallie mae... but i figured if it was legit from sallie mae there would be a voicemail for me to call back and who to contact. i do not answer due to it being a random number and  the fact that theyre countless scams out there!
