All I heard was a computerized woman's voice that said 'goodbye'.

Got a call from the scammer last night, he said he was calling from Microsoft Windows. He said he was calling about a serious problem with my computer.

I am aware about this type of scam, so I ask for name, phone #, employee #, he responded with 4 digits and I said it should be 5 and he hung up.

Just received a call from this number said they were calling from Victoria, BC and that there was a problem with my windows I said what windows she said on your computer I said I don't have a computer and she said why are you talking to me for and I said why did you phone me, then she hung up on me.  They sure make me mad with all this crap

They called me, and asked the same thing about my windows.
When I then asked who are you looking for, they hung up.

I traced their number, and called them back,
I noticed they played a recording into the microphone that said "you number you reached is out of service"
I really dont know what those kids are up to, but its annoying

Get calls often from this number. They never answer. Is it someone checking to see if a person is home? When I called it to see no one answers.

This is the 2nd call I have had from this no. They know I have been scammed before as they ask if I had someone offer to help with my computer.I told them I have and have no longer got a computer nor e-mail address. and hung up.

I just got a call from the idiots. He was insisting my computer was running on something called Gringos or Ringos couldn't understand him. I told him I have iTOK to handle all my computer problems. He said they can't fix this. I said I will call them and check. He said, but mam your computer will crash. I asked him which computer he was talking talking about he fumbled around and said they needed to fix it. I hung up on the idiot. When I called the number back it said it was no longer in service.  

They called me from 1-607-767-0057. Said it was from Microsoft and my computer had malicious software that need to be clean up. I told them it was impossible and that Microsoft would never call me (my computers are MacOS).
He was very rude when I called on his bull*. I wish I could call the police on them. Is that possible ?

I got a call from this # this morning. Caller ID said NY. It was the same old thing - some guy with a thick accent calling about a problem with my computer. He was talking non-stop so I yelled at him that it wasn't even even 7AM yet and he was already calling me with a scam and for him to get off the phone and never call here again. How can we shut these scammers down?

Asked him for his website, after 2 mins he dug one up. I advised him to stop being a thief and try and live an honest life. It is not too late to change and live an honest life. He said he was from California, but the number is from NY. In the end he hung up, no way was I going to put the phone down. It was way too entertaining.

They called me and the only message I've got was a recording saying 'goodbye' I do not even live in the US...

Ive been getting a call all day! Its so annoyinv. When you ask them to verify themselves they get angrier. Pure [***] 

Living in the Netherlands got a call from this number, preceeded by 1. First seconds no voice, then a computerlady that said "goodbye" and hung up. Already third time in two days this number called us.

I live in the netherlands. Got a call from the number a few weeks ago,  I only saw  0057 at the end.
It was a woman who spoke with a big african accent. She was calling from the windows company?? And asked if I had a computer.
I responded yes and the she told me i had a problem with my windows system. I own multiple windows systems so i asked her which one? a brief silnce, and than an anser the one you use with your bank account. I must go to a web site and fill in all the questions. I work in the IT, so i know this kind of calls. I kept the consersation going and at a point i told her that the number she wass calling from was traced by the police and within an hour the local police would pay her a visit. suddenly she hang up. I never had a call like that again.

Just receive a call from this number. "Adam" identified himself as calling from "Medical Health Care Center" located in Austin, Texas. He refused to give me a phone number or address for the company. I also received the call concerning my "windows based computer". They seem to call every couple of days from a different company and number.

A few hours ago i got a call from this number. I didnt answer ot becausa it was from USA and im from Chile.

An unsolicited call from "Windows technicians". I led him on a little, and got him to tell me his 'certification number' MS122589WC and he said his name was Max.
He tried to get me to hold down windows key and press r, that's when I hung up.
Obvious scam attempt.

Got a call from this # this morning. It was a recording saying that it was the IRS and that it was important that I call a certain # which had a 202 area code to settle the case. Why can't someone stop these annoying phone calls!!! Obviously it's a scam, but it might really scare some people when they hear the dreaded "IRS"!!! Called the # back and of course it says it's not in service!!!

I got a call from this number. The guy said he was calling from the "Windows Service Center ". I told him he sounded like he was calling from Pakistan. He said he was from Afganistan. I said that his number was from NY. he followed with a threat that there was a bomb on my house. I said have a nice day and hung up.
