They called me.....they would not say anything...I called the number back and a recording said hello please press one to be our on our no call list....wth
???

Called, said nothing then hung up. I called back and got a recording about being placed on their Do Not Call List.

call me and said nothing  , wtf!!  leave me alone!!!

Got a moment of silence when the call came in, then some dude named Jeremy picked up the phone and said "they have openings on Google and Bing for website enhancement and placement". I tried to stop him politely but he kept on babbling on. I ended up hanging up on him and blocked his number with my cell phone provider. All of these types of calls about Google are just SCAMS!! They are con-artists willing to separate you from your hard earned money with nothing to show for it.

We are an Internet marketing business. Clearly these guys, whomever the organization is, does not target or they would not have called us. They likely uses some kind of auto dialers focused on leaving voice messages since they called eBiz ROI at 8:37 PM ET and we are located in NY.. Here is the message they left me tonight: http://www.ebizroi.com/sounds/608-237-3168%20 ... -Yahoo-Bing.wav ... notice that they don't mention eBiz ROI, Inc. so it is obviously an outboud recording meant to sound like an inbound sales call. Pretty sneaky guys. Maybe you should target your call list more carefully!

The call back number in the voicemail is 888 326-7263, different than the 608 237-3168.

Got a call from this number and they left a message on machine saying my company had been selected to be their representative on the first page listing for Google, Bing, and a couple of others. Also said I had qualified for a free web page. A fellow left his name and a return phone number, which did not match.

CALL:  NOTHING AT THE OTHER END...ANNOYING

This number called my business and left a message saying it was Ron Metrokos and that he was a data service provider for Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.  Basically, he was soliciting business for search engine placement and web design. He left his callback number as 866-217-0807

This number called literally about 2minutes after the last telemarketing call. I did not answer and no message was left. The caller ID showed "Local Web". I live in TN and did not recognize the area code.  I do find the other posts about this number interesting because although it is not my primary business I also design and manage websites. You know I wouldn't be half as torqued off about these type of calls if they would at least leave a message. I dropped everything to see who was calling because i was expecting a client to call around the same time.

We have a rash of callers, for a year now, I learned that  one outfit has 22 numbers and included a Texas Address,  I found that of those listed we have had 3  numbers 2X a day, now a new one 608-237-3168 states local web I can't imagine who or what they are looking for. I am however calling my local provider and reporting it to them and see what they have to say about it. All day I could not get on the web but stupid stuff like this can???? I wonder if they can interfer with my home phone service from my provider since home phone is through the cable company? Our daugter called our cell phone to find out why all our calls were going directly to voice mail and no one was answering for more then a hour she tried to reach us. She was worried about us not answering, it was a simple fix had she not called I don't know when we would have found out about it.

Idiots. On Do-Not-Call list. Reporting them. Call RON at 608-237-3168 and say "I'm going to keep calling you until you answer my questions". After a few dozen calls he got pleasant. Seems he can't make money when he's busy taking voicemail and voice calls.
