Curious if this is a telemarketer

It appears they're just doing surveys for body shops you've taken your car to lately for body repair work. It's common practice in the business to survey the work done on your car.

I haven't had any body shop work done on my car, so why did they call me?  And I am in GA, and the number is from WI.

I recently had body work done and didn't (at first) object to their phoning me on my cell phone.  Thought it was a good quality follow up.  HOWEVER...I recently began receiving phone calls from 702-520-1399 which I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number.  After searching the web, I discovered they are SCAM artists in Nevada selling extended auto warranties.  check out:

While I can't PROVE the 608-299-0260 number sold my cell phone number to them, it's entirely too coincidental...

They're a WI company that does the surveying for shops all over the US. It's kinda like Nielsen's with TV ratings but they're getting customer service/quality for the body shops that subscribe to their program.

Funny how they never leave a voice mail.  I see it as a scam to verify your number is on service & you will start getting spam calls.  No thanks...

Got a call from 6082990260 @ 6:38 pm yesterday.  They left no msg.  Others' comments about a nationwide body shop quality survey makes some sense.  I dropped off my car near my home in Maine yesterday for long-ago scheduled body work, but it's too early for me to rate quality.

I had no problem answering the quick survey. They got my number from the body shop where I had work done. They apparently call nationwide but work out of Wisconsin. It was literally 2 minutes and the added bonus is that it also registers my paint job with the Dupont Paint Warranty. I had seen them on my phone before--she told me they don't leave messages because of privacy concerns regarding the repair job. No harm done.

I keep getting calls from this number with no identification other than the number.  They never leave a message.  I won't answer calls without a name on my cell phone, but I'm curious who it is.  A telemarketer?

Just received a call from them. They were checking to see if the body work I just had done on my vehicle was satisfactory.

I have not answered the call but, I just had body work done on my car so I would agree that is their purpose.

Got a call from same number and also had auto body work done this week.

Have rec'd 3 calls from this #, no msgs left.  Had body work done about the time of the 1st call.

I got the call today, but didn't answer since I don't recognize the number. I also had body work done recently.  I guess that answers my question!

Seriously, these people won't leave me alone. Will report to the national do-not-call registry.

When I called the number back, it was a survey about my experience at a body shop.  The questions included questions about the quality of work and service received at the body shop I had recently used to repair my vehicle after an accident.  This was a timely survey being that I picked up my car less than a week ago from the shop.
