Received call from this number showing "name unavailable"  I tried to return the call and was told it had been disconnected.

There are time wasting calls from this number daily.  I also tried to return the call, but it was "disconnected."

Called late and did not answer wife.  Dead before I got to the phone.  Unavailable name.  redialed and told all lines busy.

Received a call from this number. A man talked about cable network or something. I live in Norway.

I received a call from this number...spoke with a male who is soliciting business for Dish Network.  Said they have "seasonal specials" right now and asked if I was currently subscribing to Direct TV or Cable TV.  When informed I was on the "Do Not Call" list, said he would add me to HIS list and disconnected.

they called, I answer, someone was talking to someone else and when I said hello they hung up quickly

I dident answer the phone the first time and let it go to the answer machine and all you could hear was someone breathing on the other line. This number 608-715-6953 called again i picked up and i said  hello and no one replied on the phone but you could hear whom' ever breathing i said hello i can hear you breathing and whom ever it was hung up. They called a 3rd time but this time answer it in spanish i said
buenas tardes cómo puede le ayudo tu that means good afternoon how may I help you and i still hear them breathing i start thinking what if they randomly say I SEE YOU or SOMETHING LIKE THAT...
called the number back and it was disconnected...

Same thing here, They called and said they were running a seasonal special for Dish. My first clue that this was not a legitimate phone call was the fact that I already have Dish Network service. I, too, tried to call the number back and got the message that it's been disconnected. I'm on the Do Not Call list, so I reported them. I urge everyone to report them.

same as all the others when i answer they just hang up.  I am sick of it how can we stop these inconciderate people

Got one of these calls today.  I picked up and no one was there.

I received a call from this number (608-715-6953) at 9:22 pm!!  Now I know for a fact that the Federal Trade Commission only permits telemarketing calls between the hours of 8am and 9pm.  When I answered the girl stated she was calling on behalf of Dish Network.  I explained that it was nearly 9:30pm and was too late to be soliciting for business!  She just kept saying "ok, ok...ok" then I hung up.  I'm filing a complaint!!!

I just contacted the Do Not Call department of Dish Network and they stated that all of their calls come from a 1-800 number.  He suspects that the phone calls are from an independent company that sells Dish Networks services.  He asked a lot of questions and took my name and number and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience.  He also said that he was forwarding my information to the investigations department so they can find out what company uses the #6087156953.  He promised that I will not recieve any more phone calls after 5 days.  I was pretty satisfied with that phone call.

this number has called my house as late as 11.30 and It is really making me mad

They wouldnt say anything when I answered.  When I called back, a recorded message said "This number is invalid".  It was not the telephone company's message.
