Specifically the number belongs to Logistic Health Services, they handle all the dental and very minor medical scheduling for the national guard and reserve components, and chances are they are calling about dental work and or a dental waiver you might have. I suggest you answer it when you see it, not to many people get there teeth fixed for free!

It's Logistic Health Services for the Military. They called me because I started my post-deployment survey online but you actually need to talk to them on the phone to finish the survey.

As someone who has had their "teeth fixed for free" (as mentioned by another poster above) I can promise you that this is a case of getting what you pay for. Fillings are free, everything else is off limits. If a problem can't be fixed with a filling, they pull your teeth. The civilian dentists who do contract work for this company are aware of this and will do everything in their power to work around this, but this often means getting a filling to fix a problem that needed something much more extensive to truly resolve the problem. In a few years, when the improper filling falls out, you are left with an even more severe issue than you started with. If you have the money, get your dental problems fixed on your own.

And either way, these annoying automated calls are still no way to do business or treat America's hard working military personnel.

I was an Army Reservist for 9 years. They do fillings if it is what is authorized per the military, the next step is a root canal, and if that doesn't fix it the tooth THEN gets extracted. Maybe if YOU took care of your teeth in the first place you wouldn't need the FREE dental care that is being offered to you. Many people must simply suffer through the their dental issues, with no TX options available to them. You have some serious entitlement issues. The reason you receive the automated calls is because the MILITARY REQUIRES IT. Stop blaming the contractor for what the military requires them to do. Additionally stop spreading false information.

wow. what an uptight!  Genetics may play some role. just because you may know more about the particular process of the DOD does not ENTITLE YOU to speak so superior to its recipients. meh  maybe their parents hard luck kept them homeless for a decade of their youth? and it led to gingivitis? maybe they give all their spare time and money to their aging parents? or disabled child? and have none left for themselves or dont qualify for help themselves?  perhaps you are acting as the entitled one? definitely mot acting as one with any understanding of the less fortunate, needful, for which this process was designed!  you apparently didn't know that?!

It's legit. It's a contractor for the VA department that helps Veterans with their medical appointments for disability benefits.
