Rang on landline once, picked up to silence on the line. Caller ID read Allentown, NJ. I am on the government do not call registry and unfortunately it does little to prevent scammers calling both my cell and landline with offers ranging from solar panels, senior emergency alert systems credit card offers, free vacations, etc., etc. These are clearly sales calls and because they use multiple numbers to robo call it's impossible to report them.

Came in as UNKNOWN. "Mr. Waters" was calling regarding the supply portion of my electric bill. Call back with a copy of my bill in front of me. Gave me a reference #. Did not identify himself with any company. I did. not pick up. Must be a 3rd party company wanting me to switch from PSE&G.

I got the same call today from the same "Mr. Waters" with no identifying company and a reference number. I didn't pick up either.

Same! I called back. It just repeats the same message a billion times.

Got through to a person. They're trying to poach PSEG customers. Ignore them.

Same thing happened to me. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Same as above, left msg to call them back with my electric bill in front of me.

Just got this one as well. Not giving them a call back.

I got the same thing too. Glad I checked here first. Thought it was odd he didn't identify himself with an actual company. How do these people sleep at night?

Mr. Walters just called me and I picked up the phone. I mentioned to him I was gay and would like to hook-up with him at an adult bookstore tonight. He hung up the phone :(  All you guys try that on him he will stop bugging you

Must be an auto dialer.  They are getting creative.  Had a similar call the other day where the call starts with a female voice clearing their throat, apologizing, then launching in to the marketing pitch.

I got the same call today from the same "Mr. Waters" with no identifying company and a reference number. Unfortunately I was under the impression that they were from my current electricity supplier (they misled the discussion) so I spend quite a time and information with them before I realized they are pretending. I called back and found they they represent Spark Energy. I then called Spark Energy Company and complained about such questionable practice.
They said they will "report to their marketing department.and investigate" !

Got same call from Mr Waters about electric service.  He left voice mail.  Thanks to everyone who has posted.  You saved me from wasting time calling back
