Same here, just hangs up.

received a call: I won a Pizza Hut promotion for a stay in Wiliamsburg VA aka TIMESHARE, Pushed me to book a date over the phone and provide payment information. When I refused hung up. Female, very convincing and upbeat voice, switches subject as soon as you start asking questions - very good at what she is trying to achieve. BEWARE

Call on voice mail 03/05/14. As above, a very upbeat female voice. "Entered for a vacation" (likely a drop at another vendor's booth at local home & garden show) " and your name has been selected", etc. Did leave an 800 call back number. Will not be returning call.

Telemarketer--we "won" a "free" vacation in Williamsburg.  Very hard to shake off with a simple "not interested". Finally said "I'm hanging up now."

This is a timeshare company in Williamsburg VA. I entered a drawing several weeks ago and they called to say that I'd won a free 2 night stay at their resort.

Of course there was a catch which was revealed after being on the phone with them for ten minutes. You are required to sit through a 90 minute presentation in order to get the vacation. That would be one thing, but they want your credit card so they can charge a $75 deposit which "will be refunded" after you attend the presentation.

I hung up when they asked for the credit card number. I said I was not comfortable giving money for something that was "free" on the promise that it would be refunded. So beware! You might not want to call these guys back unless you feel comfortable giving a stranger on the phone your cc #. All it all it felt very scammy. I am no longer answering their calls.

Got three four calls in two days. Same MO as other posts. This happens a few times a month, only the number changes. My advice is to not answer the phone if you don't recognize the number.

Calls my cell phone. When I turn my phone on I get a message from my carrier saying I missed a call from this number.  Never any message

Turned down a $200 gift card in early December for texas roadhouse which we'd receive if we attended the 90 minute presentation in Williamsburg.  They called back again today and I advised we declined and we're not interested.. before I finished my sentence she hung up on me.  Pretty lowbrow telemarketing.  If it's not clear up front, it's most likely a scam.

Bad caller

It's a telemarketer saying I want a trip. Told them we are not interested but they kept calling. Just had the number blocked on my cell phone.

Call to say "you won" a vacation in some resort in the mountains (it's 20 degrees lol).  Goes through spiel but no mention of timeshare-just a booking fee of 75$.  I have to committ to all these dates on their schedule, I ask for it to be emailed, nope, gotta do it now.  Ok, so I pick and at end of verifying address and email says, "what credit card will you be using?" I say my Amex.  She asks for the CC#, I say hold on while I get it, and hey, I'm going to throw in my bank account number and a few passwords too.  BWHAHAHA. I concluded the conversation.  It's a timeshare company.  NEVER fill out those stupid entries for resort prizes-or let you're kids do it-deal with them later, lol.

Received a phone call and hang up today and yesterday.  Wish that someone answer so I could get removed from their to call list.

As others have said, woman with an upbeat voices said that I won a 3 day, 2 night stay at Shanandoah something-something resort. Asked me if I remember entering - I said no. She said that it doesn't matter, my name was chosen and would I like to pick a date for the redemption. When I asked her to email me the information, she refused. I told her that I cannot do this over the phone, after which, she abruptly hung up. Definitely a scam

Relentless. Told me I won a free vacation, after I pay the $75. Was very pushy with choosing a date. When I said I wasn't interested, she kept offering more things....which pushed my deposit up to $200. I finally said no and just hung up. The lady kept calling over and over
I finally answered it and she said that my name came back up so it was meant to be for me to win. Really?? Never will I enter another contest for a free stay somewhere.

Same as all others are saying.  Said they I entered a drawing at the state fair (I did not).  Then offered me free vacations at a resort near Williamsburg, VA.  Only if I paid a $75 refundable deposit, offered me $200 on a gift card, and although pushy, she was very friendly and upbeat.  Told her I wasn't doing anything over the phone, but she could email me or I could call her back.  She said on no, she could only make one call to me.  I told her that the same number had called me multiple times in the last 2 weeks, and she hung up on me

Keeps calling my cell phone but will not leave a message.

I am on the do not call registry and I'm continuing to receive telemarketing calls
