I informed them as soon as they identified themselves as a marketing research company that I am on Do not call list as that I am NOT interested in any survey. Also to take me off any list they have. HE PROCEEDED TO ARGUE WITH ME SAYING RESEARCH COMPANIES DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW OF DO NOT CALL LIST. i TOLD HIM "WHAT PART OF NO DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND JACKA$$". And then immediately reported them to DNC list website.

I never answer it when it appears on our caller ID. However, they call everyday without fail. Our answer machine always picks up after the fourth ring, but they never leave a message. Sometimes, after our answer machine hangs up on them, they immediately call back a second time. And they call anytime between 8am and 8pm.

Stated that they needed to talk to Michael Fern's guardian, his mother, Marie.
Would not give any other information to the grandfather.  Stated that it was important.

Well, I called the number and a woman named Lisa answered.  She claims that this is her private line, so why are they (Mathematica) using it?  I don't get it.  I looked them up online and left a message with them, but the number they list is not their own.  She sounded quite sincere and surprised by my call, so I believe that something is amiss.

I GOT A CALL FROM NUMBER AND THE WOMAN SAID THAT THEY WERE CALLING ABOUT A SURVEY ON UNEMPLYMENT BENEFITS FOR MY MOTHER.I HAVE YET TO FIND OUT HOW THEY GOT MY NUMBER AND MY MOTHERS NAME. I DON'T RECOMEND GIVING THEM ANY INFORMANTION THAT THEY DON'T ALREADY HAVE. IT SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM AND IF IT QUACKS THEN IT MUST BE A DUCK.

They have called my unlisted cell phone several times.  I don't answer & they don't leave a message

I just received a call from this # 609-897-7415.  It wa a marketing research company.  I explained I was at work and could not help them, and ask them to remove me from the call list.  She then ask if there was a better time to call & I said NO, remove me fro your call list.

They called once a month on my cell phone & for a while & I ignored them.  They never left message.  The calls became more frequent so I finally answered on 8/14/2010.  Said they were Robert Thompson Agency - a research company that would pay me for insurance study.  I told them not to call & take me off their list.  They called again 8/15 & I hung up without talking.  They called 8/16 so I answered & asked if they had a note not to call me.  He said it did but..... I cut him off & had to tell them again not to call me.  I will be reporting them to Attorney General No Call List.

I got a call from this number on 13 Sep and lady said she was calling from the Social Security Administration. She asked to speak to some one with my last name but a different first name. I told her I never heard of that person.

Called from this number claimed to be calling from The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and wanted to ask questions about my facility.  Told to call them back at 866-778-9752 and give a reference number.

I guess SAMHSA does not call from the same number as "market research" and "unemployment benefits" calls unless SAMHSA hires some really cheesy survey research firms that change their line every other week.

They do studies for a bunch of different government agencies, which is why you've heard them calling on behalf of different groups.

Just got a call from this number this morning. Caller ID said New Jersey (likely my Android recognizing the area code). I didn't answer, but now upon reading the other comments left here I shall happily hurt the feelings of any who continue to call me from this number. If being told to not call fails to register, then I'll not waste a moment on that line & instead be the one irritating them. Let's see how many different call center employees they have, as I'm sure I'll run through them all in short order.

I received a letter in the mail that a survey group would call to get info on current and past Medi-Cal users in California. Supposedly to help with future legislation. I did not remember this until I got the call, which I ignored, and looked up the number.

It's a legitimate call and you can thank the state for giving out your number. Lame. However, they have no right to be rude or call a bunch of times.

I have been gettting calls for 2 months-- I asked them not to call me again. This time they knew my name, so I said I would listen.After they identified me and my son, they asked my permission to get his transcripts, asked to interview him and record the call, asked to have permission to talk to his teacher, asked to have permission ------- NO I stopped them and said I do not give my permission. She said "YOU HAVE TO." I asked her not to call again, She said "WE WILL HAVE TO- we are the government!?!?!?

Eventhough I am registered to the DO NOT CALL, they call me at least two times every day. It seems that they are, somewhat, accesing to personal info since they mention names and ask questions about this people offering gift cards if you answer to them.
