    The caller is Medallion (he didn't quite slip that in fast enough) calling for Special Olympics.  I listened to the pitch and told him that I do not make phone pledges.  Could he mail me a pledge card? No!  He thanked me for my time.  I checked out Medallion and found that when they raised money for Special Olympics in Hawaii they kept about 2/3 of the funds raised.  This is about standard for fund raising groups.
