Don't give them your number!  Tell them you know who they are and they will be totally miffed...My suggestion, if you have a debt with a doctor and/or hospital, call them...these people are extremely rude.

They call from 610-378-5373 with a recorded message to call back at 800-220-1622. You call back and they answer with "Business Office". Asking what "business office" is usualy met with rudeness and hostility. Well, here's the company thats calling:

This number called me and when I answered the phone loudly they hung up on me. I have no idea who this is or why they are calling me. Besides the fact I have a private number and I have no idea how they got it.

It's a shady bill collector. I got a call from this number at 8:30 am and they hung up on my answering machine. I called the number back and got a recording telling me to hold and someone would be with me. Within seconds, I was connected with a female with a heavy Hispanic accent. I couldn't understand what she said when she answered the call, so I asked who they were, but all she would say was "Business Office". I asked again and she got nasty, wanting to know WHY I was asking. I told her that someone called my house at 8:30 am and hung up on my answering machine and I wanted to know who it was. She then mentioned my name and said something about a hospital that I have never been treated at. I told her that and she then mentioned my husband's name, but he has only been treated there once and that was a visit to the ER about 12 or 13 years ago. The bill was relatively small and was paid right away, but even if it hadn't been, the Statute of Limitations would have expired about 10 years ago. I kept trying to tell her that she was wrong, but she kept getting louder and louder trying to talk over top of me, so I ended up screaming a few choice words and hung up on her. Now that I know what it is about, I will be ready for the next call and simply tell them that I want proof in writing. Once I get that so that I know exactly who they are, I can send them a nice little letter quoting the SOL for VA and the FDCPA laws and finally shut them up for good.

Called and asked for my husband.  My husband was not at home. He was very rude and nasty.  When I asked to identify himself and for what reason he wanted my husband.  He refused to answer and kept asking for my husband.  After a few moments of this happening I said unless he identifies himself I would not give the message to my husband.  He said his name was David Morse (the actor).  Then hung up.

Called and keep hanging up on my answering machine.  I finally typed the number in and I got all of this information.  I am not sure why they are calling, but I am going to take everyone's advice.

I just received a call from them at 8:30am and they wanted to verify my address and I said "who is this" She said "Ms. Brooks" and I asked from where and she told me she needed to verify my address before she could continue her call. I asked again where are you calling from and she said "I will call again later, thanks."     So I had my mother return the call and they were very rude to her. And all they would say was BUSINESS CENTER. These people are shady. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFO.

I got a call on my answering machine the message was loud, and very rude - "This is Lou - call me!" Yeah, hold your breath "Lou"... I'm glad I googled this number - everyone is very helpful. Thanks!

These people called my house and I just kept thinking to myself; " these people sound so shady!" I googled their number and all this information came up about them; Thank you so much!

Sneaky SOBs, glad I googled the number...

Just got this one yesterday, but didn't call back today. Says "Private Name" on my caller ID. I never answer if it says that, if they don't want to be known then they have no business calling us.

i have 9 missed calls from this number in the past month. i have no clue who it is. it's getting ridiculous. they called me in the middle of school.

The called and left a message telling my husband that "This is Marty and I need you to call me back at 6103785373 - and you need to call me by 7:30 tonight." in a very rude tone.  Now, if we have some bill that was overlooked, I'd want to pay it - however, I've not received any collection notices from physicians or hospitals so I don't know what they're calling about- and I'm not paying some "collection agency" that will pay the hospital pennies on the dollar to collect - I'd pay the hospital or doctor - but not some nasty collector - especially on a dubious claim.  If there's outstanding debt, shouldn't there be some attempt to collect it before "Marty" calls??
