CALLS WITH AUTOMATED DEAL THAT SAYS REDUCE YOUR INTEREST RATE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD...PRESS 1 I THINK TO CONTINUE

pressed 9, someone answered and started asking questions about my credit card accounts.  i asked them what company she was with and she said "i represent card services." and without a breat asked the question again.  i said "card services doesnt tell me what company your with" and i was hung up on before i could finish that sentence.

DONT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION TO THEM AT ALL!

Birdsboro, PA.  Harrasing call, representing "card services", lower my interest rate.  Tell them nothing except strong expletives.  I'm on the "do not call registry" and that is apparently defunct.

Same MO: Calls, claims to be from 'Card Services'. Wants my account info. Sounds Phisy to me, if you know what I mean. The guy hung up on me when I pressed him for info about his company. I called the number and a recording says it's a chat line.

I got the call last night after 9PM and it was listed as Out Of Area.  It was the recording from Card Services and I pressed "9" to speak to someone to get more information.  I told her that I was on the Do Not Call List and she gave me the response "Congratulations, You Want A Cookie?" and then hung up on me.  I called the number back and got a recording for Hypnotic Chat.  I called this morning and made my number private and a there was a recording about not blocking my number and some other reason about being blocked and gave a 773-572-3100 to cll to request access the system.  They were trying to "Keep the bad ones Out."

This is a phishing scam to get yo to divulge your credit card numbers.  If you are on the FCC do-not-call list, go to their website and submit a complaint   http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Today's call is the 3rd of 3 instances when a woman's recorded voice insisted I press 9 to be connected to a live operator to lower the rate for my credit cards to 6.99%.  No name of bank or card to which they might be referring.  She said my eligibility is limited, so consider this my final warning.  Same recording from other numbers.

I'm on the do not call list and have absolutely no relationship with these people

This is one of the spoofed numbers from one of the biggest scam companies out there. Do not answer.

just received a call from "card services" about lowering my interest rate on my cards.  1.  I don't have any cards  2.  caller refused to identify herself  3.  caller refused to let my talk to her superior.

googled 'card services" to find it is JP Morgan Chase.  will file a complaint with my states AG.

"...Straight to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice please press 9 on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates. Thank you."

same old line; called them and asked to be removed from their 'list' and still I get calls. Called and left message about being on Do Not Call list and reported them and still get calls. Why don't we all get together and SUE them?

Stacy calling from 610-404-3141 said she was from Card Services and wanted to help me reduce the rate on my credit cards to 6%.   When she asked me to read her my card number I knew immediately it was a hoax or not a legitimate call from my bank.  Then she said that on Feb 15th all credit card interest rates are going up to 30% and I told her she was nuts.  When she told me to watch the news because it's true I laughed and told her 90% of what is reported isn't factual on the TV news. I told her she should not be calling people and telling them this sort of thing because it isn't true.  If it were, then we'd have a civil war among customers and banks.  Then she hung up on me.

same thing here...i didn't answer but the message was about lowering my interest rate and limited eligibility and to press 9 to talk to a real person.....to everyone reading this, DON'T EVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBERS OUT TO AN UNSOLICITED CALLER....PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!

I keep recving these calls and dont know who our why we need to do something to stop this before they get some senoir citizens to do this!!!!

Told that I could reduce my interest rate and pressed 9.  I asked the woman which card she was talking about and was told all. Told her I was Do not call and remove me from list.  She laughed and told me that I would have to remove my on name from my on list.  I asked for company info and she would not tell me.  When told that I would report them she said go ahead you don't even know who we are.  Have just filed complaint with FCC and Do Not Call registry.  I encourage everyone else to do same before they scam people out of money.  Very rude people and don't care about Do not Call.

Told me they could reduce my interest rates on my credit cards to about 6.9% asked a few more questions then ask me for the 3 digit code on the back of the card. I laughed an told them they were nuts if they thought I would give them them that info then they hung up. Also on the DNC list and will follow thru with a complaint. Tried to call the number back and it would not connect.

Call came from Pennsylvania to Kansas at 17:39 hours CST on 12-17-09. Call not snswered and no message left. Other posters advise it'd the lower credit card rate scam.

Received automated call from 610-404-3141 on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 11:30 am Mountain Time.  Call said to press nine to lower the interest rates on my credit accounts. I pressed nine and the marketer who answered asked if I pressed nine to lower my interest rates. I said, "I'd like you to take this number off of your list" and continued to state that the nuber had belonged to someone else prior to September 2009 and I'm getting calls for someone named Viola or Violet, but this is not her number anymore, but the person hung up right after I said I wanted them to take my number off their list. She didn't apologize or anything, no comment at all, just 'click'.

I've been woken up two mornings in a row by an automated message offering to "help lower my interest rate". The second time I answered and feigned interest int heir services in hopes of figuring out what comany this is, but the lady hung up on me.

The FTC has passed new rules about, "RoboCalls", as of August 2009 it is ILLEGAL for ANY business to contact anyone with a "RoboCall" without written permission.

Lodge your complaint there. Probably the only step beyond that that you can take is to block the number.
I do not have caller ID and had to pay a fee to trace that number back. I hate this stuff!! Scammers and rip-off schmucks, GRRRRRR!!
