Received a phone call from this number at 12:11, it came up on caller ID as a private call and did not leave a message.

I received two calls from this number today. It said "Private Caller" on my caller ID screen. I didn't answer, and both times my answering machine picked up and then the call was ended/the caller hung up.

Hey all, this is the Disabled American Veterans.  Im not quite sure why they have a private name listed for the caller id, maybe they find that people dont pick up if it says Disable American Vets, pretty sad state if that is indeed the case. But they are looking for donations, but not just cash donations, but clothes donations as well.  As the veterans are serious need of any kind of help.  And will take almost any donation if it will help a veteran.  Just be aware that this is NOT a bill collector, if u wish to go to there website, it is at:

By the way i do not work for them, and am not a veteran (though my brother is) I have given clothes, but up to now have not been able to give cash, at least not yet..

Recieved a call from 612-7637-6276 also, BUT he said he was a realestate agent in the area and wanted to know if my house is for sale.I got a hang up before his name or the realestate company he was form was answered.Doesn't sound what the D.A.V. would do?!?!?

It may be the DAV and have non-profit telemarketing rights, but to have "Private Number" as their Caller ID is an FCC violation and I have reported them

I can confirm - this is Disabled American Veterans, only call I received in last day. Likely you picked up real estate call on first ring before # registered on your caller ID - so DAV call was last # shown on your caller ID. They would not prank. If you listened to DAV call - they do provide info on contacting them for number removal...

I am getting tired of all the solicitations that we get!  We were at one point getting more than 25 calls per day until we signed up on the do not call list.  The number of calls dropped dramatically to the point that we started answering our phones when it rang.  

Now, we are getting up to 5 calls per day from solicitors that claim they have Non Profit Status and that they are not trying to sell us anything or subscribe to anything. The only thing they want is our money!  For the most part, we could ignore the phone because we could see who was calling.

But now....  This has gone TOO far!!!!!   'Private Name'   with phone number 6127679276

Buy the dang 'DO NOT CALL LIST"   and leave us alone!!!!!!

I received 2 calls from this number 612-767-6276 today, they left no message.  Came up Private Caller. I wasn't home both times.  I don't answer calls that are unknown anyways. I'm ready to disconnect my home phone just for that reason.  I don't know why we still have it when we all have cell phones.  SO annoying!  I donate my stuff to Goodwill myself, I don't want to be bothered with calls for it.

I get lots of hang ups when I answer 612-7676276. Very annoying

This is a process server that is trying to determine your address.  It is illegal for him to claim he is with a charity.  He works for Soucie Law, an ambulance chaser in Anoka.  Do NOT give out your personal info to this person.

I receive an average of five calls a day from this number with "Private Caller" in the Caller ID.  There is a recorded message on the voicemail, but it just says "Press 1 to schedule a pickup, press 2 to not schedule" or something to that effect.  There is no identification or information on removing.  With the incessant calls and no way to get off the list, there is no way I'd ever consider donating to D.A.V. if this is actually them calling.

I will never donate to DAV just because of the way they invade my time. Get a clue people, you could do better.

Here's the deal. A company called Apogee Retail collects discarded household goods for the Disabled American Vets. But what they really are is a retail thrift chain called 'UNIQUE'. Somehow the donations to the Vets turns into inventory at Apogee. You want to stop getting calls? Google Apogee Retail and then call them.

This well-meaning replier confused DAV with MDV. DAV is a real charity. MDV is a fraudulent charity exposed by the Star-Tribune.

How do you get rid of these calls? We gave to the vets a while ago, but they left half the stuff at my house. I never gave them my number either!  I want it to stop!
