called cell today. No message, unknown caller.

Received a call this evening to my cell phone from this number.  Did not answer.  No message was left.

Just got a call from this number. Not sure why they calling my cel-phone. We are on the no call list.

Got call yesterday no answer of course and no call back?  Today same, but now I block. Be careful of the criminals, corporations, government and cops!

I got a call today from this number. At first there was no response when I answered, then as I was getting ready to hang up, someone started talking, said "Hi, I'm calling regarding health insurance quotes that You were searching for a little while back." I told her that I was looking into health insurance over two years ago, and that I have insurance and I'm not interested, she started to say something more about it not making any difference how long ago it was... Her voice was getting louder with each word, by the time she got to the end of "how long ago it was" she was literally yelling. At that point I hung up. If I get another call from that number I'll reject it, then block the number.

Does anyone know if you block a number does the person calling know that you've blocked them?

This company has been calling me for the last 3 weeks on a average of 4 to 5 times a day.  This is very annoying. They never leave a message

I got a call from this number today on my cell,, didn't leave a message. I researched health insurance quotes online about a year ago but never made a decision. I'm on the do not call list. I blocked the number.

They've called my cell phone twice, no message. I came on here, read the comments, and now they are blocked. It's like the Do Not Call list is a waste of time because these jerks keep calling even though the number is listed on the Registry. I dropped my land line because of the constant barrage of scam calls. At least with my cell phone, I can block the numbers.

Rec'd several calls from this # & ID says it is 'Your Health'.  As with most of the other calls, no message was left.

I recommend getting the apps NQ Call Blocker and/or PrivacyStar.
They block numbers you mark to be blocked. You never even hear the ring.
PrivacyStar even asks if you want a complaint filed, which a lawyer's office
will then contact you explaining the 'up to $1000' award you can receive.
Also Advanced Systemcare has a Mobile Care app that works great too.

Called twice, didn't explain why. I'm waiting for a call (important to me) so I wanted to know why.

This phone number calls me every day at 9:30 AM. I answer and it hangs up. Its a health/dental insurance telemarketer. They switch numbers too so may call from another on a different time schedule. I made an official complaint this month (as I do every month) at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx.

If you use Ooma, you can select a "Message Blocked" outgoing message to all blocked numbers. You can also give them a number disconnected message, have it go to e-mail, or just let it ring continuously.

Called today. No messege. Called back and had option to press 1 for do not call.
