- curtiswho are these people
- Jonny| 1 reply6129705996 is "GSA". They are a debt collection place. They leave voicemails that cut off intentionally after saying they are from the VA... If you call back you get a recorded error message. You can file a claim against them as this is an illegal practice. Or just block them...
- Caller: GSA
- Call type: Debt collector
- Debbie MurphyI just received a call from this number. They identified themselves as from the VA, but now that I think about it I may have just given important information to someone else. How can I find out if the call was really from the VA?
- Caller: VA
- Ron BurgundyIt's a return call from the DMC/VA customer complaint center. They are so far behind, I contacted them like 30-45 days ago in relation to a rude customer service agent and I'm just getting a inquiry about my complaint.
- Caller: DMC/VA Customer Complaint Center
- E. L. BresetteCalled. Left no message. Called back and got an error so couldn't get through to anyone and it did not give any indication on who the caller was.
- RichardCalled and said they were from the V.A. asked me to pronounce my last name and then asked for my favorite school teacher to verify me. I gave them no information. I asked for his name and he said he couldn't give it to me. I asked for a number I could call him back at and he wouldn't give it to me. I asked him to send me info in the mail and he said they already had, which I have received nothing. Definitely some kind of scam.

- joanneI received a call from GSA HE SAID HE WAS FROM THE DEPT.OF VETERANS AFFAIRS apparently I gave them the wrong name of the bank account for the direct deposits. He asked me to verify the routing number and account number, I did not give him my account number just the name of the bank.He said he was the person who would be determining the amount of my claim and that i would be receiving a letter from them in ten days. He caught me off guard at 8a.m.m.after I hung up I made a call to the attorney who is handling my case she reassured me it was not a scam. I did try calling the number back it was a recording asking you to enter an extension number. He did say his name was Jeff, but I didn't catch his last name.the number he called from was 612. 970. 5996.

- corprin| 1 replyThis number is an automatically assigned number for calls coming out of the Department of Veteran's Affairs, St. Paul Regional Office. GSA is General Services Agency, the "owner" of the Whipple Building. The number shows for any call out of any of the agencies there-in; VSC (compensation), PMC (pension), DMC (debt management), RLC (home loans), and now the Minneapolis VAMC C&P Medical Clinic. Keep in mind the PMC, DMC, and RLC cover large geographic regions in the nation, and the VSC works claims from all over the US, so you may be called even though you are not a Minnesota Veteran. This number is to prevent direct lines of employees being released to the public. By regulation the caller is required to obtain your personal information to discuss the purpose of the call. If you feel uncomfortable releasing your information to the caller, ask them for the 800 number for the VA's National Call Center (NSC) and if they could put a note in your efolder for the NSC staff to use... but be warned you may be on the phone for a WHILE with NSC to get a human.
