A somewhat intimidating message was left on my machine to call back but when I tried to call to get to the bottom of this my call was not answered.

I tried to look up the number with reverse lookup and two different lookup services could not find this number, suggesting a phishing scam.

The person calling had an accent as thick as molasses and I could barely make out what he said other than his name (Officer James Marsh I belief) and the phone number as well as something about a lawyer and good luck to me if I don’t respond.

Well, good luck to him.

It's a scam ... I called them back and clearly it was a Indian guy .... Told officer marsh to F off and he lost his cool and started speaking Hindi ... So I called him a F'in Hindu and he totally lost his cool ... Was nice to get his goat.

You got his Goat. Wow, that was a fair swap for the harassment Where are you gonna keep it and what do goats eat anyway.

Sounds like the same thing I got twice this morning
A legitimate place should offer a 800 number and explain why or who they are calling for

Have been getting these phone call for a couple months now. First round was from a woman claiming to be from Rev Canada and left a call back number after threatening me so I called it back and got a busy signal .Rev Canada would never leave a message like this.
This secong round is now from and Indian fellow. Hahaha  send your police I dare you Will be reporting this number AGAIN

Harassing call threatening legal action to bogus claims

Just got a message from "Officer" James Morrison (? ) with heavy accent. Threatened that if I don't respond then good luck to me since situation will badly fall on me. Wack Job!!

We rec'd the same message  from "Officer Morrison" (three times) on Tuesday 23 December ... Thanks to all above for sharing their experiences with these fraudsters. You have helped put our elderly parents at ease. Happy New Year to all !
