I got this number, dont reconise it

Indian guy claiming he was a tech from whatever company and was calling me about my computer, I just hung up immediately

Got called from this number. I answered and they hung up. Who knows.

Same here Indian guy saying I had problem with my PC

my wife receive a call from un indian guy and he want to help us about a pc problem (windows) my wife ask him some questions and at the end he laught and my wife hung up......

I get this number i say hello no answer ,i tryed calling number but no answer , or busy whats with that

I had a call at 8 o'clock todaytell me that I had virus in my operating system. He ask me to use the Windows and the letter R key simultanously and to put a command in the Run Windows EVEMGR I think......I told the Indian guy that my computer freeze and that I need to go to the bathroom.....and it was not the case but i suspect a arnark......

I got a call from this number at 6:24 a.m. Did not answer my hellos then hung up.

I tried Google Hangouts on my iPhone calling my home phone from Ottawa to Ottawa and this is the number that came up on the home phone call display. Hangouts is a very easy to use VoIP app that lets you make outgoing calls. You can't receive calls from non-Google Hangouts users though as dialling this number gets you a busy signal.

Is this a legitimate call from a techie friend who uses Hangouts, or is this from a scammer who has figured out how to hide his identity behind Hangouts? How lucky do you feel?

Got a call at 8AM supposedly from MICRTOSOFT that my wife's laptop was infected and sending out virus's, told him it was not suppose to do that until 4PM and whatever he did not to use the Elevator in his building.

Second time this month that I got a call and the person on the other line hung up. Not super annoying or anything but I'd really like to know what this person does with their life.

This is a scam.
The guy tried calling me from 3 different phone numbers in three different cities.
It's the "Microsoft virus scan" where some guy calls pretending to be some company (usually claiming to be Microsoft) saying you have a virus. He then will try to get you to compromise your computer and lock you out of it, then extort you out of money to get it unlocked, tricking you into thinking the "virus" was the cause.

got a few calls from this number saying i won trip from canadian tire store.other day same number microsoft

got a call from 237-8429 without the area code so it could be from anywhere really. They were selling 'Duct Cleaning'. I was going to have fun with him and told him we don't have ducts to clean but he immediately hung up on me.

A guys with Indian accent called from this number for Duct Clean Service,
I tried to continue the conversation with him:
Him "it is xxxx from yyyy duct cleaning service"
me "what service?"
Him "cleaning duct at a flat rate"
me "how much is the flat rate?"
Him "before I tell you about the flat rate, can you tell me how many rooms in the house?"
me "ten"
Him "how many square feet?"
me "5000 sqft"
Him "how many furnaces in the house?"
me "1000"
he hang up ........

got a call from 6132378429 was some idian guy telling me Microsoft had a virus I let him talk for a min then hung up
this is the second time this guy has called my number

Received phone call from this number this morning.  I did't get to the phone before it stopped ringing, but I recorded this number.  I'm glad I checked on it here, as it's obviously from a "scammer".  Why can't the phone company put an end to these crooks?!   Telemarketers are bad enough.  I never answer the phone displaying a number I don't recognize, or if the caller ID is hidden.  They never, ever leave messages!    It makes me very angry!!
