Got called from this number then hung up on me. Could detect background noise that indicated call centre. Phone gave long distance ring but number appears local. When will the government step up and put a stop to this??

Same problem everday call   ................ finally picked up phone today, noise in background no one answered

We get calls from this number every single day and it is so annoying

The way to eventually put these scumbags out of business is to never answer unrecognized numbers.  I know this is hard because many of these robocalls are on auto-repeat until they get a pick-up, but the thing to keep in mind is that call centres pay either on a per call or per minute basis.  Either way, picking up that phone is keeping them in business and telling them to stop calling won't work either because of the pay structure disincentive (they might get a bonus if you actually sign up for whatever they're selling, but most of their pay comes from simply logging a connect).  If the repeat calls get too annoying, consider getting either a phone with Call Block or subscribing to such through your provider.
