Several calls in rapid succession every few days. No message ever left and when trying to call this number back it either rings forever or rings busy.

I got a call from this number as well asking for my husband, but he does not recognize the number and there was no message left.

I got a call from that same number, except they had an automated system asking for the person who is enrolled into a program at the college i am in, which is me by the way. My answering machine caught that.

I have gotten like 5 of these this week and it always ends up with the same automated voice asking my voicemail questions.

I got a call from this number.  A woman with an East Indian accent claimed to be calling from "Priority Mail, Canada Post" in Mississauga.  She asked for my home address.  I didn't think much of it at the time, and assumed it was regarding some christmas mail that was sent to my old address by mistake (I recently moved) and they needed my new address to forward it to because the mail was returned.  So I gave her my home address.  I was under the impression that it is illegal for a company to misrepresent themselves like that, and since she clearly stated she was calling from Canada Post, I took her at her word.  

Now, I'm not so sure anymore...  Don't know what to expect now that they have my address, whoever they are...

I received a call from this number today.  Caller was a woman with an East Indian accent who said she was calling from the "technical department of the Windows Operating System, about your computer".  That was obviously bullsh*t so I told her there was no such thing and hung up.  Kinda wish I had listened to the rest of her spiel just to find out what scan she was trying to lure me into.

several calls - no real person. Just "beep" and hung-up. The same number was calling my other cell and asking about "men of the house" or his VM. Don't provide any info, call phonebusters and provide all details to them. Maybe they will act on multiple reports. How hard can be to trace calls? Especially is they know number!

This happened to me too, An Indian male kept telling me my computer keeps downloading and spamming his department malware.  He said I needed to renew my security license to keep from getting hacked and stuff.  I just hung up figuring he was the one who was going to try and hack me lol

Just got a call. same as previous. Trying to inform me my computer is at risk. Telling me I am using Windows at that his server noticed my computer was infected...and I was also infecting my server. I asked what server that was...and he just kept on going saying...let me tell you that your computer is at risk..." Well, I don't use Windows...and when I asked him again about the server...he hung up.

Starting in Ottawa now , they claim to be MICROSOFT TECH SUPPORT.

Told them thanks for calling my 286 will not operate win 3.1 properly , been waioting for them to call for 15 years.

He hung up on me :)

Got a call today claiming to be Revenue Canada asking to confirm our address as our mail had been returned to them. Then they asked for my husbands date of birth to verify they had the right people. I have a migraine and was confused a foolishly gave it to them. I realized my mistake and called Revenue Canada who could not find a record of returned mail or anyone calling us.

Just received a call from a male claiming his name was Jimmie Stewart (yeah, think about that for a sec) and was representing ADT and, LUCKY ME, I had been chosen for free home security connection.

I told him I was already hooked up with another provider and, being quite rural, was looking forward to whomever attempted to break into my home as I am a 4th degree blackbelt, my wife is a 1st degree blackbelt, and we have 2 protection dogs that live in the home. He hung up, but I am hoping he visits soon :)

cx received a call asking for information for the computer

I'm in Ottawa. Just got a call from this number saying it was a text message from a Fido user. It said, "Hey guys, I just got floor seats to the Madonna concert. Selling them at face value of $300."

Minutes later got another called again saying it was a text message from a Fido customer and all it said was "Happy Sunday."

Annoying

Who on earth thinks Madonna had any currency? She's a has-been!

Got an answering machine message asking if I am enrolled at a program at college. It is, in fact, the program that I am enrolled in. Concerned about how this number got personal information about me, as it does not seem to be a legitimate caller.

so im starting to guess this is some sort of prank caller, this is not the first time i get this number and when i answer theres no reply :s and judging by what i am reading here, they must be fraudsters or really bored folks. and telling someone "why you no use tongue?  instead you use finger and hang up on me.  why you waste my time? stupid." is very unprofesionnal so its obviously not a legitimate company. everyone becareful not to give away any personal info.

Got call form this number asking me if i was enrolled at a college over and over and over(i am infact) i have had about twenty calls in the last month from this number.
