Revenue Canada Scammers- please do not call this number back

Apparently there is a law suit against me.

I had a recorded message that said if I don't call back they will file felony charges and my SIN will be red flagged forever. Officer Jennifer Gomez is who made the automated voice call

Revenue Canada scammer do not return call!

Call back immediately... social insurance number has been tampered.. and I will never be able to use it again.

WARNING BIG SCAM!!!!  I call CRA @ 1-800-959-8281 to verify the information, and the people at CRA said this is a big scam, and avoid giving any personal information to these people.

this numbers calls and indicate sit is CRA and they will take legal action

Calls many times a day claiming to be CRA. What a bunch of losers. Would make a living if they worked legit

Had 7 missed calls when I answered a call they asked for my name I said tell me who you are and what you are callin about then he said I'll forward you to my supervisor and he hung up

I'm in Calgary & experienced the same bs call claiming that a lawsuit is filed against me....  I absolutely hate scam artist!

Constantly being harassed by the phone numbers that all start with 1-866, 1-877, and now 1-613. Why can't these people who make these calls, do a legit job!

Above voice recording message saying they are from Canada Revenue and to call the above phone # and ask for Officer Gomaz

Don't give it a second thought. There isn't a lawsuit. If CRA really did want you to contact them they would either send you an e-mail informing you there was an important message on your account inbox OR they would contact you by mail. Just relax.     Have a good day :)

THIS IS A SCAM!!!! Now, it's amazing that our own government doesn't have an instant way to shut them down!

This is a robocall.

NEVER CALL NUMBERS GIVEN TO YOU. Go to the source and get the phone numbers from there.

They aren't even in Canada. I had a phone call from Midwest Oilfield Services. When I answered guess who they said they eere? Yep CRA. I hung up and called Midwest who were extremely upset. Both they and I called Telus to file a complaint but no luck. It's called spoofing. They get a local number and electronically hook into it so it looks legit and the real owner of the number has no idea they are being used.
