They say they are from Canada Revenue Agency. I did not answer, but did call them back.  Talked to a lady, but there was a lot of loud talking in the background.  She was having trouble hearing me.  She told me there was a mistake in my taxes and that I owed $XXXX of dollars and if I did not pay the RCMP would come and arrest me.  I asked her what company I worked for.  She could not find it.  I said... if you are from Revenue Canada, and I made a mistake on taxes, you would know what company I worked for.  Then, I asked what address she was going to send RCMP to ... she gave me town name, and first 3 letters of postal code.  I asked her for the last 3 letters.  She asked me to repeat question 3 different times.  Was unable to give me last 3 numbers of postal code, and was not able to give me my mailing address.  Finally she said "Do you not believe this is Revenue Canda?"   I said no ... she hung up on me.

If this number calls you, it is a scam.  do not call back.  If they repeatedly call, call 1-888-495-8501 or the www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca.  File a report so we can stop these people from harrassing others.

Just received this call from an automated voice claiming to be Canada Revenue Agency using threats about what would happen if I didn't call back immediately. It's a scam. I've had several of these from different numbers. If I'm actually in trouble you'd think they'd know my name instead of leaving a message for "you".

This number called my house twice today. Left message and said I need to call as I owe money. They will red list my S.S. Number and make sure I cannot work in Canada. Really!!!

My husband answered this call, was told that they are from CRA , that i owe them $×××, if wont pay i will be RCMP will come and arrest me. My husband was asked if he has money in the bank , he answered only 20$ , so he hung up. What a scam!

Got two calls from them today. Same story as above.

I received two phone calls from this number, its an automated women's voice.  Half of her message was not recorded but when she repeated it was that  if I don't call back right away it will be a  felony and my SIN # will be under investigation and red flagged forever!!!!. Then she goes  on the say she is from Revenue Canada.

People called to tell me there is a law suit against me and if I don't call back I will be arrested,  and my social insurance number will be flagged

Got one today, same deal: claiming to be Canada Revenue Agency, lawsuit against me, etc. Besides the awkward pauses in the automated messages ("your social... insurance number"), I have serious doubts the Canadian government is filing lawsuits to get owed revenue.

I was first contacted by a robotic call that indicating the RCMP had an arrest warrant for me and I should call 613-656-6330, asking for Justin Cooper. I returned the call and was told CRA had issued a warrant for me because of Fraud and errors filing my income taxes for years 2009-2014. Voice on the phone said his name was Paul Martin of Calgary RCMP. During the 3rd phone call I was told I was speaking to the CRA supervisor, Eric Edward. I was advised I could avoid a court case by purchasing "vouchers" which I was advised were Apple I-tunes cards, which I would have to show the CRA agents when I met them. My wife came home while I was on the phone with them, and we checked this internet site for the phone number.
I hung up and called Calgary Police, officer 9936, who advised we had done the right thing and suggested I file a report.

Exact same call to me today.  I've had other similar type calls sometimes a woman sometimes a robo  voice leaving a message.
