L/M saying he was calling from the CRA and that there was a federal investigation "on my name" and that if I didn't call back in a timely manner it would be taken as an offense "from my side". Said name was "Officer Jonathon" something  from CRA.  Message was already rolling when my machine started recording it so it seemed like a robocall prerecorded.

Same scenario happened to me, also in Victoria.

This guy (or group) has been doing this for over a year. It looks like he has gotten smarter. He used to tell Canadians he was calling from the IRS. He is using the name name though.

I've gotten this call twice now.
I know I have an on going case with CRA so I decided to call and just got a recorded
"Sorry but your call cannot be completed at this time" message.

I got this call today and yesterday on Salt Spring Island.

What a coincidence, as I'm typing this I get another call from this number (613-703-2706).  That makes three times today (Oct.27/15) and once yesterday (Oct.26/15).  Same incident as others above - suspicious activity, time sensitive, Jonathan Knight, Wright, White, or ???, don't ignore the message, etc.  Just let it go to voicemail and delete it every time.   =)

I just got a call from 613-703-2706, saying we're under federal investigation from CRA. Sounded like a scam to me, after reading these posts I know it is!

Many annoying calls/messages from this number - claiming to be Jonathan Wright, employee number 46791 of the CRA and saying there was a federal investigation going on regarding my taxes - time sensitive matter - if I don't call it would be "an offense" from "my side".
Didn't call back - just wish he would STOP calling !

Had this call (fake CRA) 4 times in the last 24 hours. The first time it was the IRS!!! Then Canada Revenue Industry...it would be funny if it never worked. Agree..voice mail and delete.

Scammer Do Not Call Back, report number to your local Police.

Same thing here.  Three calls over the last few days- starting at 5.45 AM!!!
