Caller left message on my cellphone directing me or my attorney to call officer so and so, or an unpleasant process would begin...and then wished me good luck if I ignored his message!
It was not an impressive or believable script.

Same for me yesterday and today

Yeah I got the same call yesterday. I was worried about it, but if other people are getting it must be some sort of a scam

Got this today, some of the recording was cut off when i answered, all i heard was if we dont' hear from you or your attorney -- good luck, not sure if it was cra or who??? But i don't owe any back taxes if it was - shame cell numbers are now being targeted....I would hate to see elders  targeted its distressing

Received a threatening message about legal action

My 14 year old got this exact message today also and it caused him a quite a bit of grief and worry. What the heck is it!? Unacceptable!

I have received the same call a few minutes ago. It's a scam.

Robot voice telling me I am in trouble and to call the police hotline and if I don't "good luck to you" - haha.  I am assuming it is some type of scam where they tell you to send some money to resolve the issue, probably to a US address, too.

Come on, that was some of the worst text to speech I have heard in many years; I have done better on a Commodore 64.  The speech pattern was terrible and the pauses were all in the wrong places.  Not to mention the completely unprofessional nature of the actual script that supposedly is coming from a police representative. Since when do cops call people on their cell phones saying they are in legal trouble and use a computer to speak for them?

Message was left asking for me or my attorney to call back to an Officer Alex or there'd be bad consequences.   I tried calling and asking for this Officer Alex but he was apparently busy.  Got cut off.  Called back, same voice answered and said "canada revenu agency" but got cut off again before I could ask questions.   Tried a 3rd time and the message said the # you are calling cannot be connected.      Obviously a scam.    Not impressed that this came to my Cell phone.

Got exactly the same message today...first they give me very quick missed call..once i called back he said he said speaking from CRA..i told him that he's stupid fellow it's impossible to reach CRA so quickly..that i'll complain about him..he was shameless fellow told me that whatever i want to do. i hung up the call.

Got 2 voice messages on my cell this week. Would like to know how my number got distributed or it may be just be calling random sequences of numbers.  I had heard it was a scam phoning friends months ago.

Hi I recieved this call right after opening a TD bank account and they are the the only ones who had my new number. anyone else a TD customer?

Its very distresing voice message from Investigation department of Canada Revenue Agency that I received today. The caller hung up on me after I enquired what was the call about and if they know any further information about me like Sin number and address. Please stop this scam!

I also received the same phone call from this number last week twice. My company has bank account with TD. I hope that is not TD release its customers' information, or its customers' information is stolen.
