Audit Scam

got the call too, did not answer and it did not leave any message.

electronic voice "warning" there's an affidavit being filed "against you" and urging "you" to call this number.
No names given, no explanation. Have submitted a complaint against this number through the national Do Not Call list.

Just got the call told them to F themselves

got a call today from this number telling a record message from canada revenue

I got the call and ruined my whole day.

Got called as well for having an  affidavit didnt say any names or numbers came and checked google and found this

Got an electronic voice message from this number, claiming the CRA had an affidavit against *me* ( no name mentioned).  Shocked the hell out of me, talked to a calmer friend, searched google & now here we all are!

Robo call. Didn't say who they were, just repeated number to call 613-777-0089 which is long distance. If this was legit they wouldn't use an electronic voice and it would have said who they were and given a 1-800 number. BIG TIME SCAM!  Don't call them & do report this number.

SPAM.  This is not the CRA, but they are trying to contact people to get personal information.  DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER!

message saying they were CRA and an affidavitwas filed against me and call 613-777-0089.  I know that this nonsense as there is no such thig as an affidavit filed against you, they are only evidence in a proceeding and real CRA would be bilingual or mail

message said an affidavit is being signed against me. it mentioned no names at all.couldn't make out all the words due to a very poor messaging system.sounds like a cheap robot.

Received automated voicemail from 613 777 0089 stating that it was urgent that I call back.  Returned call, they asked my name, then the person on the phone identified himself as an officer with Canada Revenue agency and said there was an affadavit filed against me from Canada Revenue Agency.  He asked me if I had hired a lawyer yet, at which point I hung up.

These guys are scammers, do not provide any personal information

Said I am having a case sent to RCMP for tax evasion. Asked of I have a lawyer and when I said this was suspicious, he asked if that was any way to talk to an officer. I got mad and hung up, reported them to my local police.

I call the number back, and some [***] eating chips or something crunchy when he answered he was like .. crunch crunch reven crunch .. ue can....crunch a da...

I chewed him out as much as I could before he hung up on me. [***] could barely speak English on top of it all...

very sad, that these pricks exist and get away with this crap.

Honestly, I'm so fed up with these kind of scammers always trying to steal your hard earned money.. I'd track these sob's down and jail them and toss the damn key.

Automated message claiming that this was a message from Revenue Canada advising me that an affidavit was being filed in my name and to call 613-777-0089.
